After I explained how I ended up going to get coffee with Vronsky; Ana said nothing and went to bed. I guess she was disappointed in me, and I couldn't blame her. Throughout the entire night, I spent thinking over what Veronica's reaction would be like in the morning, and Ezra... he will also be angry and disappointed in me. It was six in the morning and I sat on the school's roof top and watched the sun rise. Why did I let this go too far? Sighing in defeat, I got up and walked back down stairs. Ana was finishing tying her hair when I walked in. She gave me a side glance as I walked over to get my tights and leotard.
"Are you angry with me?" I asked as I undressed myself.
"No, I am not angry with you Dania. I am a little disappointed in you... why didn't you tell me you had a thing going on with Mr. Vronsky? I thought we were best friends."
"I don't have a thing with him, Ana. He invited me and I wanted to get back at Veronica. I know it was very stupid. Now I have to face her and Ezra," I sighed as I fix my hair.
"Don't worry about Dania. Ezra will understand and for Veronica... well I don't know, but to deal with it."
We both grabbed our bags and walked out of the dorm room. It was a long and quiet walk towards the studio, and I felt the palms of my hands getting sweaty as we approached the doors. I quickly spotted Ezra who stayed behind with his fellow danseurs; he must be really disappointed in me. I sighed and drop my bag at the corner of the studio and walked over the bar.
Veronica walked in a few minutes after and quickly shot me a glare. Every one noticed her foul mood and quickly walked over to their partners and began practicing for the auditions. Ezra slowly approached me and stayed quiet.
"Ezra, I'm so-," he quickly cut me off.
"Why did you leave with Head Mistress ex boyfriend last night?" he asked.
"Who told you?" I tried swollowing the bump inside my throat.
"Head Mistress herself... are you and him-"
"No Ezra... I was angry and wanted to get her back. I know it was very foolish of me."
"You think? I was worried sick Dania. If you don't want to-"
"Ezra please listen to me," I sighed, "It was foolish of me and it won't happen again. I understand if you don't want to listen to me"
"Fu- Dania, I forgive you. Though I do ask something in return," his gaze locked with mine, "Stay away from her ex boyfriend and stop with the rivalry between Veronica and you."
I sighed and nodded, "Okay Ezra..."
Grinning he gave me a quick peck on the lips and we started to brainstorm ideas for our auditions. We both wanted to think outside the box and dance a scene that most wouldn't do.
"Don't you think we should do the scene when the black swan seduces the prince?" Ezra suggested, "I mean... it's the most notable scene and I don't think people have the guts to do it."
"That's a great idea, babe!"
"I knew you would want to do it," he smiled.
We stopped talking and watched as Veronica approach us; her expression was unreadable. Smiling she turned to Ezra, "Are you ready for the audition?"
"I think we are ready Head Mistress. I was discussing with Dania which scene we want to do. Right babe?"
"Yes."
She slowly truned around to face me; a scowl started to form on her lips. It took all my willpower to not roll my eyes at her. I looked at Ezra mouthed, play nice.
"So Dania," she began, "How did you enjoy Dimitry? I'm sure you guys had a wonderful night."
"I enjoyed having a cup of coffee with very much. Especially from a certain coffee shop at the end of town."
As soon as I mentioned the coffee shop, Veronica's scowl deepened. It looked as though she wanted to eat me alive.
"Miss D'gionvani, my office after class," she ordered as she walked to another group.
