The week passed by quickly, nothing exciting happened, other than Anabelle and James becoming a couple by the end of the week. They really made a good couple. Now it was Monday morning and the entire class was finishing their warm up exercises when head mistress Veronica walked in. If she looked angry all the time, she was now furious.
"Do you all think this is a bloody joke?" She snapped and held a piece of paper in the air.
People around looked at her confused, which made her get red as a tomato. She crumbled the paper and threw it to the ground and walked out of the room. People grabbed their bags and walked out of the studio, it looked that class was cancelled.
I told Anabelle, James, and Ezra to go on without me. I was still shocked about what happened moments ago. I grabbed my bag and was walking out of the room when I saw the crumbled piece of paper. Curiousity took over me and went to pick it up. What would get Veronica so angry? My eyes widened when I saw those two words printed on the paper.
"Swan Lake..." I whispered.
I dropped the piece of paper and ran to head mistress Veronica's office. I was about to knock, but I heard someone cry. Seconds later I heard objects being thrown at different directions and Veronica yelling, "why me," the entire time. Not caring about getting into trouble, I opened the door and saw Veronica holding onto her desk helplessly. Her bun was out of place with strands of hair covering her eyes. The tears smeared her make up, making black watering rivers fall down her cheek, and her tan blouse untucked. She looked so broken.
"Get out!" she yelled, "I said get out Miss D'giovani or I will expell you!"
"Head mistress, I just came by to make sure you were okay. I saw the paper on the floor..."
"Oh did you now and what?" she spat, "You came to give me sympathy? Look here, I am fine! I don't need anyone's sympathy... leave now before I actually do consider expelling you!"
"May I at least help you pick up?" I asked.
"No! Leave now!"
I nodded, "Madame Veronica... you were one of my greatest role models and still are."
She nodded and looked away. Sighing I closed the door, and heard Veronica cry again. It was a sick joke... Swan Lake, really? The nerve of some people here on campus. Losing my appetite, I walked up the stairs. Veronica was in charge of this production and it was going to be tough on all of us. I had a feeling she was making every one pay for their sick joke.
Hours passed by and Anabelle burst into the room, "Dania, where have you been?"
"I wasn't feeling so good, so I decided to take a nap," I half lied.
"Oh well, Ezra has been looking for you. Should I tell him to come?"
"No... I just want to be alone if you don't mind."
"Okay, well I brought you a turkey breast sandwhich and a bowl of fruit. You better eat!"
"Yeah I will. Now go and hang out with James," I smiled.
She smiled and gently closed the door. I looked at the sandwhich and my stomach began to growl. I was enjoying my lunch when I heard someone knock.
"Come in," I said in between bites.
"Hey babe, you okay?"
"Yeah, I think I may be coming down with something," I lied.
"Want me to stay?" he asked, with hope of me saying yes.
"Sure," I faked smiled.
I honestly wanted to be alone, but I didn't want my relationship with Ezra to crumble down either. He grinned and sat next to me. I offered him fruit which he happily took. We both stayed quiet, it was the first time in so long we were doing something else, than just making out.
