Chapter 24

Skyla’s Pov

“Just let me go” I yelled breaking from Jasmine’s grip as I ran across the road tears clouding my vison

   “SKYLA WATCH OUT!” Someone yelled as I turned and saw two bright headlights coming straight at me.  I closed my eyes and felt the front of the car plowing into me. then everything went black

Liam’s Pov

 Skyla broke out of Jasmines grip and ran across the road

   “SKYLA WATCH OUT !” I yelled just as the car hit her making her fly . Oh my god what just happened?!?

 Harry’s Pov

 I watched as Skyla ran across the road

“WATCH OUT!” Liam yelled just as a car hit her making her fly . Holy shi**t what just happened. Skyla just got hit by a car. Oh my god! this is all my fault

Louis Pov

“WATCH OUT” Liam yelled just as the car hit Skyla . She probably flew at least 3 feet. This was terrible oh my god what are we gonna do?

Zayns Pov 

I just watched Skyla get hit by a car. How ? Why ? this couldn't be happening.

Nialls Pov

Skyla ran across the road and was hit by a fu**ing car. When I get a hold of the driver I’m gonna kill him. But for now Skyla needed help

Jasmine’s Pov

 “OH MY GOD !” I screamed as I ran to Skylas side. I heard sirens in the distance.

    “ Skyla are you ok? Answer me” There was no response. I could see a lot of blood spilling out of her. Oh My God i shouldn’t have let her go.   Why did she run. I tried to stop her. I'm her older sister I'm supposed to protect her. Some random guy pulled me away to the side.

"Let me go!" I yelled trying to get out of his grasp

  "I'm sorry miss but it's too dangerous for you to be out there"

"She's my sister!" I yelled elbowing him in the side he finally let go

Somone else tried to come over and tried to hold me back. Now I ain't one t get agressive but if you come between me and my family then I realese the beast and I"ll do whatever it takes to get to them. I'll do whatever it takes to protect them, even if it means I have to use physical force. I heard a few sirens coming from the distance and officers pointing to me. I wasn't going to let a few officers get in the way of reaching my sister.

One grabbed my wrist and before he could grab my other wrist I took my free hand to pry my hand free and knocked him down. Another cop came over and grabbed my wirsts and held them behindmy back. I was being very scrappy and wouldn't hold still. I kicked him in the shin and pushed him to the ground 

"Should we taze her?" An officer yelled

    "No" Liam yelled

"Don't you dare taze her, she's only 14" Louis yelled

    "She's just upset" Harry yelled

"We'll take care of her" Niall yelled

All the officers backed away and let Niall through who came to my side "Come on Jasmine"

"No Niall I've got to go see if she's ok" 

   "Jasmine we'll see her at the hospital" Niall grabbed my arm and started to pull me away

"No Niall let go" I cried fighting back

   "Guys she's being difficult help me contain her" Niall said pulling me over to the curb

"No" Harry tried to grab my hand but I swatted it away "Don't"

    "Jasmine listen to me you've got to calm down" Liam said

"How can I stay calm when my sister just got hit by a truck"

   "Jasmine if you don't stop and calm down-" Harry started

"What? if I don't calm down are you gonna hit me too?" I shot back regretting every single word after. He looked at me angry, shocked and guilty at the same time. All the boys were, they loosened their grip on me giving me the advantage to free myself. I pulled myself out of Nialls grasp and ran towards Skyla. A few people tried stopping me but I just dodged them . 

"I'm sorry miss you can't see her" A man in an officer suite said

   "Why not she's my sister"

"This is an accident scene we have the paramedics checking her out"

   "Let me through" I said pushing past him. He held out his arms holding me back 

"I'm gonna need some back up" he said into the radio

I ran over to her and looked at her motionless body.  Her hair was a mess and her leg was twisted to the side and there was an open gash right below her belly button. My eyes flooded with tears as I looked at the boys who stood there shocked.  

 "Jasmine get back here" Liam said trying not to cry

    "NO!"

"Jasmine listen to me get over here right now!" Harry yelled

    "NO  SHE WOULDN'T BE LIKE THIS IF YOU HADN'T HIT HER!" I yelled. I immediately saw the guilt in his face and regreted what I had just said. But it was true. If they hadn't hit Skyla she wuldn't have ran away.

 I looked at her again There was blood everywhere. I couldn't bear the smell of all this blood. I felt really dizzy and nausea started to over come me.  I remember screaming then a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. I felt several people trying to pull me away but I just fought back. Shouting and yelling things at them I didn't even mean

"Alright  give it to her" someone said

   "Give what to me you aren't giving me any-"  My speech became slurred as I felt a pinch in my arm. No matter I still tried fighting back. Every time I lifted my arms or tried to look around my head would become heavy and I felt very dizzy. 

"Alright she's calming down" someone said coming over to me

  "But she's my sister" I mumbled as my vision clouded. I tried with all my streangth to fight back the darkness that was engulfing me I started to say something "I have to protect h-"  but couldn't finish. I had lost. The darkness engulfed me into  the blackness as I lost consciousness
