Chapter 4 ; Grayson's Idea

As soon as they got to their houses, they fell asleep almost instantly. The next morning, around 7 am, once Grayson knew Chase's parents weren't home anymore, he ran out and jumped inside Chase's room. He quickly grabbed hydrogen peroxide and cotton balls, cleaning Chase's wounds before he woke up. he bandaged his knuckles and moved his shoulder slowly.

"Chase.. Chase.... CHASE!" Grayson yelled, causing Chase to jump out of bed and fall on the floor. "WHAT?!" he yelled back, getting up. Grayson grabbed Chase's shoulder, staring at him, "I have an idea for summer!" Chase's eyes widen, "What is it?" Grayson gave a small smirk, "We're going to revisit all the cities where you've fallen in love and you have to choose who you love more." Chase chewed on his bottom lip for bit, "Deal."

Chase then threw his hands up and sarcastically yelled, "Yay lets get reminded of all my heart breaks WooHoo!" Grayson slapped his cheek, "Stop. We haven't been to these places in years." Chase sighed, "Fine but we're taking turns driving." Grayson threw his hands up in the air, "Yay ROAD TRIP!!" Chase shook his head, laughing lightly, "I want McDonald's right now." Grayson nodded and dragged Chase out to his car, hating the fact that it stopped raining. They got into Chase's car, a 2014 Convertible SS1 Camaro, and took the 5 minute drive to McDonald's.

"So, which place first?" Grayson asked, knowing that Chase wouldn't want to go back to his elementary school. "Well, why don't we go in order? First Texas, Then California, Then Florida." Grayson nodded as he pulled up into the drive through of the restaurant. After they ordered their food, they drive back to Chase's house to discuss the road trip plans, Chase being uneasy about having to face all of it again.
