I woke up and washed my face. I brushed my hair and put it into a tight gelled back bun. I put on makeup and my graduation dress. I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my bag. I walked out the room locked my door and went around the corner to the glider. I picked every single one of my friends and went to the café. I ordered a waffle. Lyla ordered a pancake. Renessa a croissant, with butter. Elenzie chose a toast with honey. Nathenzee chose a french toast. Ashena chose cereal. "I'm actually really nervous." I said. "Don't worry everything is going to be fine. Hopefully." Lyla said. We finished our food and went into the room. It was huge. And packed. We found out spots and went our ways. The room quieted down when Meryl stepped forward. "Hello youngyins. Welcome to the next big step in your lives. And choose wisely." She started, "Abree, Acliya, Adrianna, Aesha, Africa, Agnes, Ahlam, Aina, you didn't choose wisely. Leave please." Aina left but Ashena took her away and told her to stay. "Amorie, Aniyah, Aora, April, Aquena, Arianna, Ashena" Ashena walked up got married. She became a musician and her husband a mechanic. She then slipped away to lock the doors. After was Elenzie and Jacob. Elenzie became a veterinarian and Jacob a director. She called up Lyla and Mark and they were married to eachother. Lyla is to be a teacher and Mark a principal. Nico and I came up and got married. I got a job as a doctor and Nico as an engineer. Nathenzee and Stiles were called up and those two got married. Nathenzee became a musician and Stiles is a comedian. Renessa and Dylan went up and got married. Renessa became an actress and Dylan became and actor. Meryl finished up, "...Zxa, Zyban. Thank you for your time I ho---" Renessa jumped on stage and started talking, "Meryl is a fraud and does not have the right to rule our society." I jumped up on stage and read aloud 'The Journey' article. Elenzie then jumped up and read the 'Our Names' article. Nathenzee then joined us and read the 'How We Colonized' article. When we read this the security guards tried to get us off but Ashena was beating them. Everyone was in shock. Lyla walked up next to us, "But that's not all. Meryl takes these medicine twice a day so she can be alive forever to forever rule us." Lyla then read the article. "How do we know that you didn't write this yourself?" A man from the crowd asked. "Are you really trying to justify her after all this evidence?" I said. "How do we know that that's her medicine?" Another man yelled. "You know there's a lot of reasons not to believe us. But guess what, there's a hell of a lot more not to believe her!" Lyla yelled. "So are you gonna let this fraud rule us, or are you gonna vote her out!?" I continued for Lyla. "You can't do that! That is not aloud!" Meryl yelled. "Actually that's one rule you forgot to abolish. Also get some better bodyguards." Ashena said. "If you want Meryl out raise your hands!" Elenzie said. The crowd all rose their hands. We turned to the Council. "Council, your job is to make our society better and to do what they want. This is what they want." I said. "No you can't do that! I'm head and they can't do anything without my consent!" Meryl said. "Well we just let you think that." An old Council member said. He continued, "I don't get much attention but I'm here. My name is Ralph and as 2nd head, Meryl is banned and will be executed as the last execution." Meryl screamed, "NO!" Everyone cheered in the crowd. The security stopped attempting to knock down Ashena and went to get Meryl. Later that day it was optional to watch Meryl get executed and I didn't go. Ralph walked to me to talk, "Oh one last thing Monica. We got your ocupation wrong. Instead of a doctor, you will now be head leader." I stood in shock. "Congrats kiddo!" He said before he walked away. I went up the Nico and told him my job. "That's great but doesn't that mean we can't move back to the city." He said. I hadn't noticed before but he was right. But it was a sacrifice I would make. Later on me and Nico found our living area. It was spacious and cozy at the same time. Everything was great because the next morning we were given information on who we are. My name is Monica Leigh Richardson. I am Sweden and Scottish together. Lyla is Lyla Maroon Kaine. She is Swedish like me. Renessa is Renessa Harold Martin and she is from Barbados and Jamaica. Elenzie is known as Elenzie Marie Claire. She is Mexican and European. Nathenzee is legally Nathenzee Wilbur Josephs. She is Nigerian. Ashena Priscilla Aucaquizhpi. Ashena is Ecuadorian and has a long last name. Meryl is gone and so are her ways. Neclaces are still here and no execution. Gays are loved, and that's all thanks to me.
