Chapter 6-
My jaw dropped.
I couldn't believe what I had just heard.
"She's pregnant." My conscience told me. "You knocked her up. Congrats bro."
No. This can't be happening.
I buried my face into the palms of my hands.
"What's wrong Austin??" Maya said.
"I..I can't tell you."
"Why not?"
"Just look, it would be better if you just left me alone for now ok?" I said angrily. She was frowning. "Look I'm sorry. I have to go." I said trying to hold back from screaming.
I stormed out of the classroom without even asking and just left school. I drove straight home, luckily my mom wasn't there. I pulled out my phone.
"That video has 3000 views already," I thought. Shit.
I went into my bedroom and locked the door. I paced back and forth questioning what to do. I was overwhelmed with an amount of stress and I was sweating and my teeth were clenched. I was so mad. I clenched my fist and punched at my wall, letting out a growl.
Every hour I would check the video views.
4000.
5000.
6000.
7000.

I felt like I owed an apology to Maya, so I walked over to her house. I knocked on the door.
"What do you want?" She said.
"To apologize. I shouldn't have snapped on you. I was just so angry."
"What even happened that you can't tell me?"
"I can...I just..." Tears started to stream down my face. Suddenly she placed her hand on my shoulder.
"You can tell me Austin," she said, beaming into my eyes. I started sobbing hysterically into her arms. She buried her face into my shoulder, unsure of what to think. I pulled the strength to let her know the news.
"Ashley is..."
"What?"
"She's..."
"She's what, Austin?!" she snapped growing impatient.
"She's pregnant." I managed to whisper as I slowly began to fall and sob into her again.
The look on her face was of pure shock. She grabbed my hands and took them off of her and stepped back.
"You shouldn't be here," she said, sounding scared. I looked up at her, tears still falling from my face.
"No Maya, you don't understand."
"Don't understand what?! You...y-y-you got her fucking pregnant! You need to go-"
"Maya! You said that you didn't care that I had sex with her, and it wouldn't make you think of me as a bad person!" I yelled still crying hysterically.
"That's one thing, but when you get a girl knocked up when you're both drunk that's another thing." She said. She tried slamming the door in my face but I grabbed it and pulled it back open. "GO!" She yelled. I wiped a tear away.
"You're all I've got." I told her.
"Wait...what?"
I let out a shaky sigh.
"If you haven't noticed, everyone fucking hates me. Everyone. I can't talk to my mom about ANYTHING because I'm so self conscious. You're the ONLY one I've ever opened up to. EVER." I managed to say. "Please, just help me." She stared into my tear-filled eyes.
"What do you want me to do anyway?"
"I need help. I don't know what to do. And you're so smart and you're a good person and I trust you. I just need to know what I should do..." I said trying to stop crying.
"Come inside." She said. "This is what you're going to do."
