In a Downward Spiral (Book One)

Chapter Twenty Nine

I'm baaaaack!!!!!!! Oklahoma and Missouri were soo much fun! So, when we were staying at my mom's friend's parents' place in Colcord, Oklahoma, we went to Arkansas with my mom's friend's sister, Carissa, and we went into a drive thru safari in Gentry. At the safari, you get to pet wild animals and hold snakes, baby pumas, and tigers. It totally made my entire life because I was the only one who got to hold the baby white Siberian tiger, Chub Chubs. She and her dog friend, Mabel, were sooo cute!!

My friend Lexi got spit on by an ape.

We fed some animals in the car (which we were absolutely not supposed to do. We broke the rules!) and we were going to "borrow" some prairie dogs. I'm definitely working there next summer.

Animals that I got to feed, pet, and hold are in the picture up there^ obviously, my favorite is the tiger. The baby pumas are in the picture next to her.

After that, we went to this river in Siloam Springs, where you can jump off a cliff, and met a few boys. My sister left my sight with this guy named AJ and she eventually got caught kissing him by my mom and Carissa. Everyone thought Carissa was our mom because she hit my sister with a beef stick every time she got in trouble. Funny, huh?

Eventually, we weren't allowed to hang out with AJ because after he kissed my sister, he tried to get with Lexi and I. His friend told us that he was known for getting girls in trouble for kissing them.

Fun, fun.

Then, we went to Missouri for an all Christian family reunion that was not for my family. I felt way out of place because I knew absolutely nobody. Well, I got to know them all a whole lot and I really miss them. I'll see them in a couple years.

Well, that was definitely the longest author's note I have ever written. If any of you have taken the time to read it, thank you for wanting to know why I haven't updated in a couple weeks.

Parker's POV

A father. I was going to be a father. Natalia was pregnant with my child. It was probably the best feeling I've ever felt.

I knew that I had been distant for the past few weeks with her, but I didn't know why. She had been trying her best with me. She had given me her all. I had given her shit. I had gotten her pregnant. I had to admit, it scared the hell out of me when I saw the positive sign on the stick. But I was happier than ever.

A little child, half me and half her, running around our house within a couple years. I would be able to watch him or her grow up. Graduate and get marred. If it's a girl, I'd be able to give her away on her wedding day. That brought a smile to my face. Well, not just that, also the sight of Natalia when I woke up. She was peaceful, beautiful, and graceful.

I reached toward her face and moved a piece of hair behind her ear. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked at me, a smile forming on her beautiful face.

"Good morning," she whispered.

I lightly kissed her nose. "Good morning, gorgeous."

She wrapped her leg around my waist and pulled me closer to her. "You know, these hormones are making me crazy."

I smirked and caressed her cheek. "That's very tempting."

"Mmm," she hummed. "It is."

I lightly kissed her soft lips. "But we have school in about an hour, young lady."
