Natalia's POV

I didn't know why I was so afraid to go down the stairs to the living room. Maybe it was because I didn't want to see Anthony? Marcus was not all too good either. Neither was my mom.

But I really missed home. That house would hopefully one day hold the best memories in my life.

And I was mostly worried about Brandon and Julie. My life couldn't be as bad as theirs was.

Knock knock

I sighed and sat up. "Yes?" I asked, a little more rudely than I meant to.

"Talia, I made you some chicken and rice if you wanted any."

"Okay," I said, both of us knowing that I was not going down.

"Honey, please, come down."

I sighed. "Five minutes. I'll go down for five minutes."

My door opened slowly and she appeared in my room. She helped me off the bed and led me down the hallway, helping me down the stairs.

We walked into the living room and I spotted Abby on the floor, eating her dinner.

She looked at me. "Hey, Natalia."

I smiled at her. "Hey, Abby."

I sat down next to her and looked at the TV.

I heard shuffling and felt a hand touch my back. I furrowed my eyebrows and stiffened.

"Natalia," he said in a low whisper. "You forgive me, right?"

I looked at Anthony. "I already told you," I whispered. "I do forgive you, but I just can't really talk to you."

He frowned. "Why?"

I looked back at the TV. "Parker will kill you, that's why."

"Controlling boyfriend, huh?"

I rolled my eyes. "He's not controlling"

He chuckled. "Is it bad that I find that hard to believe?"

I clenched my teeth and stood up. I couldn't take it anymore.

I walked to the stairs and stopped when I heard a car horn. I furrowed my eyebrows and walked to the front door, cracking it open.

When I did, the biggest smile spread across my face.

"Oh my god, Parker! You cannot be serious!" I said with excitement.

He chuckled. "Obviously, it's serious. You're car is right here, fixed up, with a new paint job."

"A fanfuckingtastic paint job!"

I ran down the stairs and touched the hood of my car, smiling at the perfect finish, the black base paint and the red racing stripes.

I rounded the car and pulled Parker in for a hug, squeezing him as tight as I could.

"Thank you so much, baby, I love you."

I heard a low chuckle come from his lips. "I love you too, sweetheart."

I kissed him softly, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I really wish we were home," I whispered.

He smiled against my lips. "And why is that?"

I smiled back, pressing my lips onto his jawline. "So I could privately reward you."

"Mmm," he hummed, licking his lips. "And what is that reward?"

I laughed, looking into his beautiful eyes. "I think you know."
