Rumors Spread

"Hikaru! Hikaru!" Kaoru called out for his older brother. He'd rushed into their room where Hikaru was resting on their bed.

"Hikaru!" Kaoru sobbed, he threw himself into his brother's loving embrace.

"Kaoru, what's wrong?" Hikaru asked with concern.

"You haven't heard? It's... It's a rumor... An awful rumor." Kaoru carried on crying.

"What?! Someone's spreading rumor's about you! What rumor?"

"I-I don't want to say."

"It's okay Kaoru. You can tell me anything."

"W-Well... Tamaki... We..." Kaoru's voice faded. He couldn't finish his sentence. Hikaru tightened his grip on his brother, stroking his back.

"Kaoru... I'll take care of this... Please don't cry..." Hikaru pressed his lips gently against his brother's forehead. He didn't know how his brother REALLY felt about him, and this kiss only made his heart burn hotter. Hikaru clutched him until Kaoru slowly drifted into a deep sleep, finding comfort in his brother's arms. Hikaru was tempted to kiss his soft lips. Deep down Hikaru knew he had strong feeling for his brother that weren't normal. Neither of them knew about each other's love. The lover's were star-crossed by fate into twin brothers.
