11. Seeing Mom and Dad

Sharon thrust me and Toria into the castle.

"Your highnesses, your daughters have arrived." Sharon said, showing us to Mom and Dad.

Mom looked at me in disbelief. Dad did the same, but he gasped.

"KAELIN!" Dad boomed. "What is the meaning of this?"

"I'm sorry, okay!!" I said. "I needed some-"

"Forget that!" Mom said. "Honey, why would you run away? Millions of girls would love to be in your place!  This is unbelieveable!"

Toria crossed her arms.

"You yell at Snakie, you yell at ME!" Toria said, pouting and folding her arms.

"TORIA?!" Dad roared. "And I thought she got lost in the woods..."

"Hon, settle down!" Mom said. "We shouldn't be so-"

"We were running away for a little while!" I said. "We needed a little time off 24/7 princess duty!! Mom, I understand this is important to you both, but you wouldn't want to be a princess full time! Especially when you're forced to be girly!!"

Mom and Dad thought for a minute.

"Well, just don't do it again." Dad said finally.

"I agree. But Kaelin, you KNOW better. I expect more from you, Kaelin Addison Ramirez." Mom scolded.

"Okay." I said.

"And Kaelin on your bed-"

"Mom, that's where I'm going right now-chill!" I said.

"Okay." Mom said smiling.

Mom and Dad came down to hug me and Toria. I softly gave a hug back. I walked up to my room and I saw a note. It read:

Kaelin~

We were having a ball. Today, by coincedence, is when the ball was picked. We picked out a dress-Dad and I both-that might fit your style. We hope you like it. 

Also, we're extremely sorry for the teasing and forcing-to-be-girly series. We hope you can find it in your heart to forgive us.

I looked at the hanger. There was a beautiful black, pink, and blue dress with a skull button on it for me! It was perfect! Like a ball gown, but with a punk touch! I smiled, then sat down at my desk and got on my laptop.
