When Luke and I reached the courtyard I ran over to a small pink fence and there laid my cat Jesse.
"Jesse...be good." I said.
"Why don't you take her with you?" Luke said. "You're allowed, Snake."
"Okay, I'll do so." I said happily. I picked up Jesse. I answered happily since I didn't have to leave Jesse with our royal family.
Jesse was, perhaps, very timid. She was like a ghost. She had pale white fur, a real light pink nose, and light brown eyes. I carried her as we walked away from the castle. But not everything went as I planned.
We were walking down the stream where Toria was. She noticed us and ran up to us.
"Hey mister and missus, you look pwetty..."
Toria stopped when she noticed Jesse.
"Kitty look like Jesse!" she yelled. "Wait second, is that Snakey Pie?"
She pulled over my mask. "SNAKEY!!!!"
She ran up the hill. To tell Mom about us. Well, I just hoped Mom didn't find me. If she did, that would be pretty bad. So I kept walking with Luke.
"What if someone finds us?" I asked.
"They probably won't." Luke said. "Look, I know you love your parents but they drive you crazy with the princess stuff. Just chill out and visit them some day."
When we got into town, everyone was staring at me suspiciously. Maybe it was the giant tattoo of a spider on my arm. Which got there...how? We walked into the hotel and Luke checked me in. "Kaelin Ramirez?" the man asked. Luke and I froze.
Everyone was staring at us. I heard an old woman yell, "The princess has escaped! Call the guards!"
"Snake-RUN!" Luke yelled. We dashed into the elevator to get up. But then the guards were in the elevator. But when we got to the 50th floor, the door wouldn't open.
"LUKE!" I yelled, sweat pouring down my face. "The door...it won't open! At all!"
