I screamed as the thief approached me.

"I don't have the jew-" I stopped when he covered my mouth and started dragging me.

I groaned. Mom and Toria were outside playing now. And I didn't know where in heck Dad went off to so I was stuck with this creepy theif guy! Then when we reached the gross chamber that runs the water in the castle the thief pulled his hand off of me. Then he took of his helmet revealing baby blue eyes and oily black hair. He was pretty cute for a thief.

"Who are you?" I asked. "What do you want?"

"Shh!" the thief said. "Calm down. And who are you, I might ask?"

"Well..." I said, "...my name is Kaelin but please call me Snake. I'm the eldest princess. The little girl is my sister, Toria. You?"

The thief stroke his black hair. "Name's Luke. Luke Ortega."

"Why are you here?" I asked Luke. "What do you need from here?"

"Just a little money!" Luke said. "I need it! I need the money or I'll get foreclosure and lose my home!"

I threw some gold at him. "Take it!" I yelled.

"Thank you!" Luke said.  "So...how do I repay you, Snake?"

"I need to get out of here!" I said angrily, kicking a trash can and spilling mush all over the chamber. "But you can't get me out of here......can you?"

I hopefully looked into Luke's eyes.

"Well...there's a hotel right by my house." Luke said. "I suppose you could stay there?"

I grinned. "Thanks!"

"Why do you need to get out of here anyways?" Luke asked.

"I'm just sick of living here!" I said. "IT SUCKS LIVING IN A CRAPPY CASTLE WITH NO FREEDOM AND NOTHING TO EAT BUT ROAST AND TURKEY!!!"

Luke nodded. "I see..." he said. "Shall we go now, Princess Snake?"

I smiled.  "Don't have to call me princess. It reminds me too much of my stupid life."

Luke nodded. "Well, let's go."

I agreed. I put on a black shawl and pulled it over my eyes and hair so people wouldn't recognize me and say, "Goodness! Isn't that the eldest princess? We need to get the guards to capture her!"

So Luke said, "Okay, are you finally ready?"

I nodded.

"Are you sure?" Luke asked. "There's no turning back."

I nodded again. Then Luke grabbed my hand and we left.
