Deshawn POV

When we got home I was surprised by all my family and friends . First person I seen was baby girl. Her and Shay was right In front of everybody . No lie I was happy to see all my family and friends here to support me , but I was excited as fuck when we made it in the dinning room and I seen all the food that was cooked . That's probably why my mama wasn't answering her phone when I tried calling her . After I hugged and said my what up's to everybody I was ready to eat . They all laughed at how hungry I was because they know how nasty that food is at the hospital . After we all ate we talked , clowned , and listened to music the rest of the time . When everybody left I asked Shay if she could come up to my room with me and baby girl so we could have some alone time . She agreed and we went to my room.

Shay POV

Deshawn enjoyed his surprise party today . I was so happy to see him and Laila spending time together . After Everybody left he asked me and Lai to come up to his room with him to spend some alone time . I agreed because Lai would be mad if I didn't . We went up to the room and him and Lai started playing right away . He stay making her laugh and as silly as she is she be cracking up . I know she gets that from me because I'm silly too .

" So what's up love ? " I asked Deshawn taking his eyes away from Lai.

" Nothing really , just wanted to spend time with my two favorite girls . " he said making me blush .

I couldn't help but to blush . He touches this part in my heart I never knew existed .

" Oh really . So I'm one of your favorite girls still ? " I asked .

" Well duh . You always will be my favorite girl ma . " he said .

" Awwe , I'm so touched . " I said .

" You know I will always love you Shay . " he said .

" How much ? " I asked .

" With everything in me ma . " he said . " One of these days I'm gonna make you mine again , but only if you want to ." he said .

I don't know how I'm feeling right now . Yes , I do want to get back with Deshawn , but only on one condition .

" Only if you promise you won't get back into that street life . " I said . " I don't want that type of stuff around Laila . " I said.

" That's what its gonna take to get you back ma ? " I asked .

" Yes . " I said .

" Cool shit . " he said smiling .

I wonder what's going through his head .

Deshawn POV

When Shay told me she would get back with me only if I promise to stay out the streets . I swear I like that shit . I would give anything up to be a family with the girl I love and my baby girl Laila . Popz told me he had something to talk to me about and I'm hoping it has nothing to do with the game because for Shay and Laila , I'm out . We chilled for a while and I even persuaded Shay to stay the night here with me . When Popz got home he came in my room and told me and Shay we all needed to talk . I told Shay to bring baby girl in my mama room until we finished talking . When she got back we started talking .

" Okay , Shay do you remember when we first met to your house ? " he asked .

" Yeah. " she said .

" Well I think it's important that you know what really went down . " he said.

" What do you mean what really went down ? " she asked .

" Yeah Popz , what do you mean ? " I asked .

" When Nicole and Jaylen got there nobody answered the door , but she heard Laila crying . She then called me to meet her there because she thought something wasn't right . " he said looking at Shay .

She looked at me then back at Popz and knodded for him to continue .

" When I got there she told me about he crying so I went to look through the window and that girl Tray standing over Laila with a knife . " he said . " When I seen that I kicked the door in and she took out running and I chased her down and took her back to the house . " he said .

I know Shay was as heated as I was because she started getting her stuff and said she was coming back .

Shay POV

After I heard what happen immediately got heated. I told Deshawn I would be back and Nicole said she would keep Laila for me. I called Tray phone and told her to meet me to my house. She said she was coming. When I got home she was already inside since she had a key . I walked in and for straight to it .

" What happened when Nicole and Mr. knight was here ? " I asked.

" What you mean ? " she asked with a confused look on her face .

" Why am I being told you was standing over my child with a knife and took out running when Mr. Knight kicked the door in ? " I asked getting even more pissed off from the way she was looking at me .

She didn't answer me she just stayed quiet and stared at me .

" Answer me , motherfucker ! " I screamed with rage .

" Yes , I did it and would have handle the problem if it wasn't for them interrupting me ! " she said .

Next thing I knew I was punching her while she cried for me to stop . I stood up over her and she kicked me causing me to fall .

She stood up and started pulling my hair .

" You don't deserve him , bitch ! " she said .

" What the fuck are you talking about ? " I asked as she pulled my hair .

" Deshawn , he is too good for you , bitch . " she said . " All those times he came here and acted like I wasn't anybody . " she continued .

" He wasn't here for you , bitch . " I said .

" Yeah , he was here for your ugly ass . " she said . " I could have loved him better , but he didn't see that . He goes and get you pregnant and goes missing . " she said .

" Bitch , you must me crazy " I said pulling her off my hair and kicking her causing her to fall then put my foot to her throat...

Deshawn POV

I've been calling Shay for a while now, but she not answering my calls. I hope she is okay and nothing bad is going down. Just in case I'm gonna have Nicole go pass by her house to check .

What will happen Between Shay & Tray ?

Will Shay & Deshawn get back together ?
