"Draco, please. You have to take her. She has part of your blood," I tell at him.
"But Hermione, what if she is like them,"he said.
"That's why she has you. Look at yourself. You have changed so much in such little time. In fact I think out of your entire family, you have changed the most."
"Well, there was Si-Sir- Siri...," Harry trailed off walking into our room on the brink of crying. I waited for him to shut the door before I spoke again.
"I think we should continue this conversation elsewhere. Somewhere where no one can find us,"I say looking at Ron and Draco.
"I know a place. Follow me," Ron said walking out of the port hole. He took us down to the second floor then out and around the castle.
"Ronald, I swear that if this 'place' is any more farther I'm just going to hex you as soon as I am about to fall," Draco said. I laughed even though I too was very much exhausted from the walk alone.
"I promise it's just through these doors. And then around a corner or two," he said as he kept walking. I looked at Draco and he looked at me. We both laughed and caught up to Ron.
"Where did you ever find this place? It's amazing and I've never seen it on the Map," I ask Ron.
"That's because it isn't. This section of the castle was added when it was rebuilt last summer. Lav and I came here a lot after you and I broke up. I found it after I went looking for a cat for her. She was talking about having one when she was a litter girl and I wanted to give her one so I went into the grounds looking for one. And I ended up here,"he told us. He was proud of himself and was not afraid to get hit for it.
"Okay, so you and Sirius were the most changed in your family. She needs you so that she doesn't grow up to be bad. Draco, if you won't take her now, then give her to your mother until you feel ready to," I say to him. He looks at me and looks at Ron.
"Tell me what it's like. To expect a child and to have one. Ron, you and Lavender seem so ready for your child to come, I honestly don't think that you won't be exceptional parents. And Hermione, you and Harry are amazing with Teddy. How?" He asked. I took a moment to think about it. I never really thought that taking care of Teddy is more of my life, than school is really.
"To be honest Draco, Teddy was a surprise to me as well as Harry. We thought he would have been with his grandmother a bit longer. She was in completely good health and she died because she missed her daughter so much. Harry and I had to take him in, otherwise he would have gone to a muggle orphanage. We couldn't do that to him considering he never knew his parents and Harry knows what that is like. He didn't find out the truth about his parents until he learned that he was a wizard."
"Expecting a child is a bit less busy, yes we are running around trying to plan a wedding and prepare for the baby's arrival, but we are so excited because we don't want to know what we have until they are here," Ron said to us. He was honest about every word he said. I know because he turned a bright red in the face.
I looked at the two infront of me and saw not the boys from my first year here, but two young men ready to fight the world. That's when I started crying. A few tears rolled down before I looked at the ground. This is it. This is what we have become.
Ron pulls me into a hug and strokes my hair. He is like to brother I never had. So protective and yet gives me enougb room to make my own decisions, even if he manages to make me mad sometimes. Soon enough Draco joins in and we stood there.
Soon I heard footsteps behind me and when I separated from the boys to look at who it was, I was embraced by the scent of lilies and ashes. Harry. I hug him back. He is hurt but at the most part fine.
"I'm sorry. I should have stayed in the conversation. It's just hard to talk about. And I-"he said before Draco interupted him.
"I'll take her. But until we graduate, I get her to my mum. I would rather have her there then here," he said. I nodded and took Harry's hand. We started to head back up to the castle when Ron spoke up.
"So, Draco, what are you going to name her?"He asked. We all looked at Draco. He thought about it a moment. Then he looked at us.
"Hope. I'll make her Hope. After all that is what she is. Hope to me that she will be better than them."
"That's beautiful. Now I say we go up and meet little Hope," Ron said. The boys nodded and started heading up.
"Harry, wait. You two go up. Well be there in a few minutes," I say to Draco and Ronald. They nod and keep going. I pulled Harry's hand and walked down the hallway. I sat on a bench and Harry sat next to me.
"What is it, Mione?" He asked me. The questions were visible in his eyes. I mean in and give him a quick kiss.
"We're almost done. Harry, what are we going to do? We have no way of providing for Teddy and getting things for the wedding. And to to it al-" I'm interrupted by a sweet and passionate kiss from Harry.
"I have plenty of coin in my vault at Gringrotts. We can live off of that until we get jobs. I think someone is getting a job in the Ministry of Magic. And besides why wouldn't the Ministry of Magic hire me? I'm Harry Potter." He gave me a smirk and I playfully pushed him.
"Harry. I'm serious. I mean it's not going to be easy. Teddy is getting bigger every day and I don't want to miss it. I want to be able to be there for him. And if we get jobs, then it would just take our time away from him. That's why I became such a bookworm."
My parents were always working and they would send me next door to the Barnes family and they had two boys that wouldn't play with me, so I started spending time with Mrs. Georgie and Mr. Ben in their study and read the books that they have me.
"Well, I won't take ALL the fun away from him. Besides we could have Mrs. Weasley look after him if we need to. I know for a fact that she wouldn't mind. She is the closest person I have to a mother and I bet you she already thinks of Teddy as a grandchild. We will be fine because I love you and-"
"I love you. Anything is possible."
"Yes and because we love Teddy. Your going to get a job in the Ministry and I'll wait to get a job. You know that I want to be an Auror, and I know that it is an around the clock job. There is nothing that can come between the three of us. Now let's go up to the Gryffindor tower. I want to see our Teddy and meet little baby Hope."
I nod and he entwined out fingers and gives me kiss. I smile as he deepens the kiss making me have to arch my back. I swing my legs over his lap and he pulls my torso closer to him. My hands find their way to his already messy hair and stay there pulling on his hair. I part my lips just the slightest and he imediately took over me.
I lost my senses and before I realize we are standing in front of the Fat Lady and he was putting me on my feet.
"When did we get here?" I ask him. My mind still defogging.
"While we were snogging. I lifted you and walked all the way here. I am quite surprised you didn't realized it. For all you know I could have taken you to the third floor corridor and down the trap door."
"Harry! You would never. And besides how could I not get lost when I have the most desireable man as my fiancé. I can't believe you didn't look away."
"And I can I not. I have the brightest and most gorgeous witch of our age as MY fiancé."
"Oh stop. Come lets go inside. I bet you Teddy's been missing us."
We go through the port hole and everyone is chattering. As soon as they see us they stop. Ginny comes over with a scared expression on her face.
"Ginny what's wrong?" I ask her. She starts to tear up so I pull her into a hug. She starts to call so I crouch with her. I wait for her to gather herself and reply.
"I-it-it's Teddy. He is in the Hospital wing."
