|Chapter Ten|
- Devyn
A smile crept on my face as I woke up and got out of my bed. I've been in good spirits and today is Sunday and I get to see my dad's family. This day can only get better and better.
I got up, brushed my teeth, and took a bath. My arms were still kind of sore from the fight I had Tuesday. The bruises on my face could barely be seen and my eye had completely gone down. The scratches were no longer evident either.
I got out of my bath and dried off. I rubbed my Paris Hilton lotion all over my body before settling for some Nike Pro shorts and a Victoria secret hoodie. It was only 10 AM and Sunday dinner didn't start till 3 so I had almost 5 hours to kill. I decided to make breakfast.
First, I walked into the twins' room. They were already up. I picked them both up carefully, one in each arm, and carried them downstairs with me. They were about 2 months and some and already smiling and drooling. I laughed joufully at the sight of my baby brother and sister. William and Sevyn. I laid them in their basinets and placed the basinets close to my reach but far away from the stove.
I got their formula out and made only two bottles. I have to ween them off of drinking so many bottles so I added more cereal to their bottles than normal. I picked them both up and laid them in my arms as they sucked on the bottles. Their big eyes looked at me. They were both a brown color and had almond-shaped eyes like my mother.
"I love you two," I cooed at them. They finished their bottles in no time. I laid them over my shoulders so they could burp before going to sleep. That cereal will knock them right out I swear. I burped William but Sevyn went go sleep before I could burp her. I laughed and carried them to the basinets in the kitchen.
I then began to cook. I mixed some pancake batter and got the eggs going on the stove. I decided to do some sausage too for my dad. I made some marshmallow dip for my fruit that would replace the bacon.
"Mmm. What are you cooking?" My mom asked behind me.
"Breakfast. Something you should be cooking," I spoke nonchalantly.
She sighed.
I don't know why I still had this attitude towards my mother. It was like as if she was out to get me or something and I knew it but I just expressed it in disrespect. But I doubt that she is.
"You know he's going to find out right?" She asked.
I turned to look at her after turning the stove down.
"Who's going to find what out?" I asked raising my eyebrow.
"About you and that boy. The watchmen that work for him sent him picture of you going into his house. You're lucky that I saw them on his phone and deleted the messages and picture before he got to see."
I looked at her. "Thanks," I said dryly.
I turned back around and stirred my eggs and flipped the pancakes. When I felt the pancakes were done I put them one a plate and dropped some more. I took the eggs off of their eye and dropped the bacon.
"What is he like?" I heard my momma ask. That made me blush. I can't lie and say that I was not only physically attracted to Kyrie but I was also mentally and emotionally attracted. I still couldn't see myself dating him though.
"He's very attractive. Dimples. A nice brown, caramel skin color. He's pretty tall. Very muscular. Tattoos. And he's smart," I spoke in a dreamy voice.
