I opened one eye slowly, as I was sprawled out by the edge of a beach, salt water licking up my sides. I groaned as I wobbled to my feet. Gathered my bearings and noticed that I was on a deserted island. It mustn't be far from the mainland, from my knowledge anyways.
I suppose I must start my quest for the precious emeralds somewhere, so I might as well begin here. After all, the only reason I exist is to protect my kingdom with the vital gems. Without all seven, my world will fall apart. The islands will sink, the oceans will boil, and the sky will fall without the stones.
Unfortunately, my power was stripped from me from the notorious Dr. Eggman Nega, who has scattered the emeralds across multiple dimensions. I am sure to retrieve them as quickly as they were lost.
I felt something wet drop on my shoulder. I stared up at the darkening clouds, and decided to take shelter in a nearby cave. I produced a small amount of fire to shine the way through the cave. The sound of the rainstorm soothed my thoughts and I noticed I was tired. I decided to keep searching through the cave, just in case I was lucky to find an emerald. The air held a foul stench of sulfur , and it was humid in the cave. The closer I ventured into the cave, the more I began to notice a faint turquoise glow begin to intensify. I immediately thought of Silver, and I felt giddy inside. The hedgehog was one of my closest companions, and he has been missing for over a decade. Although I refused to admit it, he was dear to my heart. I shook the thoughts from my head and decided to focus on the main task. My heart began to pound with excitement as I grew closer to the light source. I still held my breath. However, I wasn't prepared for my thoughts to become so muddled so quickly. I kept trying to focus on the main task, but I felt hypnotic. A strange deep pulsing sound was the only thing I could focus on, and I could feel my pupils dilate. I walking in a zombie-like trance, and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't break free.
"Oh, you poor, poor thing... so much stress on one Princess" purred a velvety voice. It appeared to be female, but it seemed so... False! I shouldn't trust it.
"Your persuasion is tempting, but my wits are stable" I growled firmly.
"Oh your Majesty, I would NEVER deceive you. You can trust... In ME.." She murmured, just as a bright light shone, and I gasped. A series of flash backs bolted through my mind and scenes flashed through. When I opened my eyes, I felt my moist cheeks. I was... crying. My jaw tightened, as I wiped away the remaining tears. I do not cry, I kept telling myself.
"You poor little kitty... It must be such a shame to know the truth" she murmured, with that same vile, velvety tone. I was sick of her, sick of all this crap I have had to go through. I lunged straight at her, with a fireball ready. A pair of black wings and teal eyes were the last things I saw before I came face to face with a cosmic portal. There was no way of escaping it, as I braced myself for the impact. That's when everything became white and fuzzy.

I stood in an unfamiliar surrounding, and I realized I was I a vision. I have been in some often, but this was in an unknown reality. I began to take in my area when a gust of wind took me off guard. I snapped my neck towards the direction of a blue blur, and decided to follow it. The closer I approached it, the more readily easy it was for me to see what it was. It appeared to be a blue hedgehog... Carrying an emerald... A Sol emerald. My face contorted into rage as I caught up with it. I stuck out my leg and tripped it, ready to take back my emerald.
"Hey! What's the big deal!!!" It said annoyed, folding its arms.
"Don't you know what that is" I asked, ticked off.
"Well sure I do. It's a Chaos emerald. So get lost lady!" He said, getting up. I swiftly kicked him back down, inches away from his face.
"I am not to be trifled with. That's a Sol Emerald, not a... Control Emerald?" I said, trying to keep up my guard.
"It's a Chaos Emerald Kitty-" he began, just before I began to choke him.
"Don't. Call. Me. Kitty. Give me the Emerald. NOW." I seethed, as he gasped for air.
"Ok... Just.. Stahp squeezing" he squeaked. He extended his hand to give me the Emerald, and just as it was in my grasp, the vision ended.
