Chapter 3 (Blaze)

I awoke to something poking at my face and the bright sunlight. I jolted up and a small rabbit girl jumped back.
"Sorry for waking you up miss!" She said in a high, squeaky voice, trembling. I didn't respond immediately, for I noticed I had something in my grasp. I sighed with relieve as I recognized the jewel.
"Can you talk?" The girl asked curiously, and I sighed.
"I must go." I said, rising up from the bush I was resting in.
"Where do you have to go? Maybe I could help you" the rabbit said, following me like a puppy.
"I do not require aid. Now, if you excuse me, I must find a blue hedgehog." I said a little too harshly, and I noticed the girl's ears drop.
"I'm sorry if I offended you..." she sniffles, and I sighed.
"I just need to get going. It's none of your concern. I apologize for my brash behavior." I said trying to soften my tone some.
"It's ok. I do know a certain blue hedgehog. He is very fast." she perked up, and I turned around.
"My name is Cream. Cream the Rabbit. What's your name." the girl asked, skipping merrily behind me.
"Blaze. Blaze the Cat. Guardian of the Sol Emeralds and Princess of the Sol Dimension."
"Wow! I've always wanted to be a princess!" Cream exclaimed with a big grin.
"It's a big responsibility. I didn't get a choice...anyway, who is this blue hedgehog?"
"Oh, that's Mr.Sonic the Hedgehog! My friend Amy knows a lot about him. She really likes him. Follow me!" Cream beamed, leading the way. I noticed the little blue creature following behind her, but I decided not to ask. I wasn't here to make friends. After a short while, we approached a cottage decorated with pink flowers. The sign on the door read "The House of Amy Rose". Cream knocked on the door and almost immediately the door opened. Out came a pink hedgehog wearing a shirt red and white dress with matching boots and a red headband.
"Oh, hey Cream! Who is that?" The hedgehog asked with a queer look, pointing her finger at me.
"Oh this is Princess Blaze the Cat. She needs to know where Mr.Sonic is? Have you seen him today Amy?" Cream asked politely.
"What do you mean that you need to know where my Sonikku is?!? He is MINE, got that? Just because your some PRINCESS or whatever, doesn't mean that you automatically get dibs on whatever guy you want" Amy rattled furiously, jabbing her finger at me.
"If you took the time to actually listen to what I was going to say before rattling on about something utterly irrelevant then possibly we could actually get moving faster" I seethed with pure annoyance. I just wanted to get those (insert bad word here) emeralds and get this stupid quest over with. I was already sick of everyone here. They were either rude or just plain obnoxious and held me back from my mission. Amy must have gotten the hint and she immediately backed down.
"Sorry, I'm just really protective over him.  Go on." Amy mumbled timidly.
"Thank you. As I was saying, I believe that Sonic might have more of my emeralds that I need to survive and support my kingdom. Could you please
direct me to him?" I said with a fake smile plastered across my face. I took out the Emerald and showed it to her.
"Sonic wouldn't steal it on purpose... but he might have a few more. Maybe we could ask him." Amy said. I just nodded. Amy closed the door behind her and led the way. We were on our quest.
