Chap 1. The Dream & the Child

Percy's Jackson POV

I gave Annabeth a hug and walked to my cabin.

Now that the giant war was over everything went back into place. Everyone seemed to be happy.

I put on my PJ's and sat in my bed and slowly went to sleep. Of course I had a nightmare.

I was in a cold windy place with white snow. I saw a young girl about 11 years old with peaceful blue eyes and brunette colored hair.

She was wearing a worn white night gown with a purple rube on. She looked cold and hungry. Then a huge gust of wind came and blew everything backward sending the girl on her knees.

Sliver hoods suddenly appeared, a sliver arrow zoomed right by the little girl's ear.

The girl froze in tear. One the sliver hoods fully appeared.

It was Artemis, I could recognize her anywhere. She looked only 8 years though she was so elegant . "Sorry we thought you were someone else" said Artemis helping the young girl up.

The girl quickly took away her hand "You're monster get away from me!", she said frightened though she grabbed a small butter knife from her pocket.

Artemis did a slight chuckle "No we actually defeat monsters".

Just then a girl with black spiky hair came out. It was Thalia!

"My lady she is a half blood!"said Thalia.

" Yes, Thalia I am very aware she is. We will take her with us and drop her off at Camp half blood" said Artemis.

"Who are you?" asked the young girl.

"I am Artemis goddess of the hunt and this Thalia and we are the hunters", the goddess said proudly.

I was expecting her to say OMG Greece gods are real!

But no, she kept a straight face and nodded.

"Follow me I'll find you some warm clothes", said Thalia as she lead the girl to the other hunters.

I awoke with someone yelling in my face. "Percy wake up!" I know right away it was Annabeth.

"What?" I said still groggy from my sleep. "Your finally awake! I sprayed water on you and I was slapping your face, you were really out!" said Annabeth clearly annoyed with me.

I looked over on my wrist which said 5:00.

"Wait what? Why is it 5:00 in the morning you know breakfast is not intill 8:00 right?" I asked Annabeth.

"Percy I have been here longer at camp than you have, I know what I doing!" said starting to lose it with me. "Fine, I'm getting up" as I stumbled toward my night stand to get my clothes.

Annabeth's POV

How could Percy forget?

After the giant war every year to rejoice our victory, everyone goes to either camp half blood or camp Jupiter for two weeks.

This year it was at camp Half blood.

Also not mention the hunters were joining us this year. Everyone woke up extra early to get all the cabins cleaned up and ready.

I got the spray bottle that I had sprayed earlier at Percy and started cleaning.

I noticed as I wiped down the book shelves that Percy was heading up to Poseidon's table.

I put down my cleaning supplies. It was already lunch time, I ran from my cabin and headed down to my table.

Quintus' POV

My feet were sore from running.

I stayed by Thaila's side. Up ahead was Artemis leading the group.

I was dressed as if I were a hunter myself. My hair was pulled back in a single braid with a sliver ribbon tied at the end.

Artemis put her hand up and we all stopped. "Someone is near draw you bows ladies" said Artemis.

I got out my red clip from my hair. I clicked it 3 times and it turned into my sword leaper. Artemis was right, I heard voices coming from the bushes to the left.

They appeared, boys and girls were carrying backpacks wearing purple shirts.

When they saw us they froze and they looked like they didn't know what to do.

One of them had dogs by her side with a purple cape behind her, she walked forward.

"I am Reyna the leader of Rome and we suggest we go together to camp half blood to make it easier".

I looked at Artemis to say what she would say.

"Very well, however keep the boys far away from the hunters and we do not sleep together." Artemis said standing straight.

"Yes my lady" answered Reyna.

I thought I saw something to my right. Nah its nothing I thought.

I was wrong because a huge monster came and scooped me up and I went flying in the air then, things got fuzzy as I watched kids with purple shirts and hunters attack the bull-shaping-animal.

Finally I just closed my eyes letting the darkness creep in.
