Daemon followed Blair down the numerous aisles as she looked around. Occasionally grabbing something from the shelves and tossing it into the cart. It didn't take too long before the cart was partially full of just food. She grabbed two boxes of tea then turned to Daemon who was staring suspiciously at a young looking teen who happened to be watching him from his peripheral vision.
The boy looked around seventeen years old. His hair messy and spiked out in a blood red color. His eyes dark and bold as he now looked directly in their direction. He was deathly pale and so thin his collar bone stuck out sharply. Though he looked intrigued by Daemon he seemed to be amused at the sight of Blair. A small smirk playing on his lips. Before Blair could say anything he put down the can of peas he had in his hands and walked away. His ripped and tattered t-shirt revealing dark scars on his back.
"Do you know him?" Blair looks at Daemon curiously. Surprised to find he was just as confused as she was. It made no sense, the look he was giving Daemon was of someone who knew the person.
"I've never met the kid before."
"He's cute, very stylish." Blair smiles. "You think he likes rock music?"
"Stereotypical Blair." Daemon laughs. "For all we know he could be into classical. He may just like that fashion."
Blair nods. He had a point after all. That could just be a stereotype. "So then why was he looking at you like that?"
"No clue, let's get kitchen appliances. I don't think I can eat off of paper plates for the rest of this week."
The appliance section had a variety of things and décor. Blair and Daemon had a similar taste in music and décor so it wasn't too hard for them to come to an agreement. They ended up buying silverware, plain white glass plates and a set of glass cups of different colors. Including a bunch of other random crap. The last of their money was used to buy a nice couch and a plain wooden kitchen table that came with four chairs.
It was a little but it would be a good way to start. Once they left the store and packed everything into Daemons beat up car the boy they saw in the food section appeared. He gave them a friendly smile, his attention mainly on Daemon.
"Daemon is it?"
Daemon nodded slowly. His eyes cold and void as they focused on the boy. "How do you know my name?"
"I saw you playing your guitar. Are you an artist maybe?"
"If I were an artist would you think I'd be playing in public."
Blair stared at them from the passenger side of the car. The boy appeared to be around the same exact height as Daemon. His lean legs somehow holding him up.
The boy smiled. "I'm Louis by the way."
Daemon shook his hand briefly then waved as he hopped into the driver seat. "Well it was great meeting you."
"Woah wait," Louis hollered as he jumped in front of the car. "I play the guitar also a-and the bass. You're clearly very talented and I'm not half bad myself."
"Get to the point kid."
Louis scowled. "I'm twenty."
Daemon stared at Louis for what seemed like forever. His eyes unreadable and his lips clamped shut. Blair had no idea what he was thinking. When she heard him burst into laughter she nearly jumped in surprise.
His eye watering up after a few seconds. "Damn, you fooled me," He exclaimed as he began to sober up. "I thought you were seventeen."
"Well I'm not, and if you'd just hear me out I think we could have a shot."
Daemon shook his head and plugged the key into the ignition. "I'm not interested in men."
"No," Louis gasped. His eyes widening at the sound of the car engine. "Wait, hear me out!"
Daemon was growing impatient. It was clear to Blair and she felt that if Louis didn't get to the point soon Daemon would end up with a criminal record. In attempt to get him to leave she grabbed a pen from the cup holder and a napkin. Jotting down her number and name before handing it to him.
"Call me, he's my roommate. If what you need to tell him is that important give me a call and I'll give you our studio address."
Louis glanced down at the scrap of paper then violently shook his head. "Daemon please, listen to me."
He didn't. Daemon pressed his foot on the gas pedal and drove off. A stern look on his face as his gaze focused on the road. Louis ran after the car for a few minutes. Four quick words being yelled at the top of his lungs. His red hair flowing every which way.
"Let's start a band."
