Daemon watched the screen intently as each victim screamed and panicked. The gore so intense Blair had to look away at times. It was her idea to watch Saw, but she was quickly regretting it. She had forgotten how intense the gore was. Daemon on the other hand was finding it interesting. His arm wrapped around Blair who didn't even realize it was there until now.
"Where would you tour if you were to become famous?"
Daemon hummed as he thought the question over. "The world. I really want to see Italy and France in particular."
"I see."
On the screen a woman was being shoved into a pit of vaccination needles. Her screams shattering Blair's eardrums. "I think I'm going to get some more popcorn."
Daemon nodded but didn't turn in her direction. As she waited for the popcorn bag to finish up popping her phone began to ring. Blair looked at the caller ID but the number was unknown. She hesitantly answered the phone, unsure at who it could be. "Hello?"
"Blair, how've you been?"
Joey. Blair dropped her phone and backed up into the fridge. Her heart pumping so much blood throughout her body, so fast her vision became blurry.
The phone rang again. Blair grabbed the phone and pulled out a hammer from the bottom cabinet and slammed it down repeatedly on the phone until it was in multiple pieces. Her hands grabbing the broken parts and squeezing them nervously. She looked around frantically to throw the parts away.
"What did you do?"
Blair jumped in surprise and breathed heavily. Her mouth quivering. "H-he called. My mom said she gave him my number. He called."
"Breathe."
Blair did. She breathed slowly in and out until she got back to normal.
Daemon got closer and gently took the glass away from her bloody palms and tossed them in the garbage. "Was it necessary to break your phone?"
Blair looked down at her feet. The microwave beeped signaling it was finished. "I'm sorry."
"For what?" Daemon pulled out the popcorn before moving to the sink and washing out Blair' cuts. Luckily they weren't too deep so it wasn't necessary to get them stitched. "Just go wait in the living room."
Blair nodded. Her gaze set on the television while Daemon poured the popcorn into the bowl. He joined her soon after. "I won't push you. I won't do anything if you don't want me to. Don't be so freaked out."
"It's that obvious?" Blair shoved popcorn into her mouth as Daemon glanced at her. "I trust you won't try anything."
"You shouldn't," he chuckled. A dark look in his eyes. "I'm just like any other guy Blair. As I said before, I won't do anything you aren't comfortable with."
"I'm not comfortable with this conversation."
Daemon nodded in understanding. "This is the worst date I've ever had Blair."
Blair burst into laughter. Her eyes watering from the force of the laughter that left her. Daemon joined her and messed up her hair. Once they'd sobered up Daemon smiled lightly. "It's also my first date, thanks for ruining it."
"No way." Blair shook her head in utter disbelief. "You're lying."
"Well I've slept with plenty of women, but I never went on a date."
Blair's eyes widened, but she said nothing. Should she trust him? This was the exact type of guy her mother had warned her about. "Oh."
Daemon nodded. His attention back on the television.
