Scampering away from the lake and Jenna I was left on my own once again. Not wanting to be around people I opted to walking about the town. Although the town was rural and had a small population it was a very large area. None of the houses or businesses were near each other. It was quite a walk to get to the first few buildings from the lake but when I finally made it back into the town I decided to pay a visit to the nearby library for some peace.
Opening the front door I scanned the room and made my way to the back to occupy an empty spot at a table. Picking up a random book I sat back and kicked my feet up resting them on the table. I sighed in content for what seemed to be nearly seconds before my phone vibrated in my jacket pocket wildly. Groaning as I read the name 'Kellin' on the screen I promptly declined the call and continued reading. Once again the phone vibrated wildly on the table shining Kellin's name and in annoyance I answered the call.
"Wha-" I started until getting interrupted by screaming coming through my speakers.
"TAY WHAT THE FUCK!!!!" Kellin's voice boomed. "Listen Tay hon it's good to want to get out of the light for a bit right? I understand you I get that you need a break okay. But you can't just disappear out of no where so please tell me where the fuck you are!!"
Rolling my eyes at my managers attempts to reason with me I scoffed and snapped back through the phone at him "Listen Kellin... I'm not telling you where the fuck I am. Don't be such an uptight dick I said I'll come back when I'm ready ok. For now leave me the fuck alone, simple." I retorted. Kellin was starting to get on my nerves with his constant texts and calls trying to communicate.
"Tay you better tell me where you are we have other important stuff to do. I'm not waiting for your precious vacation to end, we need you now." The voice through my phone hissed. In a state of rage I stood up fast and yelled at Kellin.
"NO YOU LISTEN HERE KELLIN IM NOT COMING BACK!! SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!" I hung up and threw my phone onto the table. In my fit I did not hear another person enter the area. I turned as they tapped my shoulder and looked right into the eyes of an older looking lady. "What do you want?!" I lifted my nose in a snotty matter.
"Miss you need to leave! Stop disrupting this library and calm down with the cursing!" She scolded. Grabbing my phone I stomped towards the exit and slammed the door behind me.
"The nerve of some people! I'm just trying to get some freedom and I can't even have it in this dingy town!" I mumbled to myself as I stormed off towards my apartment. "It's like everyone's out to make me miserable or something. I just want a break from all of this." I rubbed my temples as I reached the front porch and shoved the keys into the door knob.
Stumbling into my apartment I threw my things onto the floor and paced around the room in anger. Grabbing a bottle off of the table I took a swig from the warm half empty beer. Trying to calm myself I opened the back door and walked onto the back porch throwing the beer bottle against the side of the house watching it shatter in front of me.
"Alright cool down now.." I thought to myself and breathed in deeply. Clenching my fists I inhaled and exhaled gradually slowing my breathing down. These bouts of anger were common for me when I'm unable to calm myself down for a long period of time, but I usually succeed in making myself breathe. Eventually I was totally calm and headed back inside for another beer.
