Josh knew he was forgetting something when they were driving over here, and he didn't know what for the longest time, trying to pin point just what it was. He figured it out when his skin was turning an awful red as he was at the beach with his stoner friends, and it was stinging.
"Maybe if I turn over?" Josh thought out loud, his face smooshed in his arms as he eyed Brendon and Dallon tackling one another by the ocean, but earning a disapproving look from River.
"Yeah, then your chest will burn red too."
"That wouldn't be so bad?"
River looked at him, stunned, a quiver in his lip made Josh's eye twitch as he looked up at the perched boy. "Yes, Josh, it would. It would be bad."
"I knew that."
The younger peered back to the magazine he was reading, flipping the page all snobby like, well, Josh thought, but it made him scoff. And without a second thought, the red head pushed up from his spot, dusting his shorts of before calling back to his annoying friend.
"I'll be back, my good sir, m'gonna take a whiz."
"You do that, and make sure you don't miss." River said in a monotone voice.
Josh slightly turned, his face in horrors. "Like I've ever."
"You have!" The brunet yelled back. "And it was all over my mom's new tiled floor!"
"Shut up, that was like one time!" And with that, the red head was walking up the wooden steps to the wooden shack of a bathroom. Maybe there's a wooden toilet? The thought made Josh laugh as he came up to the line already forming there, making him groan. He just really needed to piss? Like, come on? In and out. It was literally that easy. Josh's little movement, kinda like a small dance caught the guy's attention in front of him, a small, cute, little smirk forming on his small, cute face.
Josh stopped, feeling heat on his cheeks as the guy giggled, an adorable one if Josh could pin-point the word. Pretty tanned flesh, pink, plump lips and brown doe-eyes, chocolate colored hair that seemed to wave back in a faux cut; was he a god or something? Because damn and in those white, bathing shorts with cute little blue and red sails on it?
Josh was in for it.
He ran a hand through his sweated out hair, quickly looking away to be greeted by another giggle, and he looked to the lanky brunet in front of him, catching his eyes as he nervously fumbled with his sweated out hands.
"Hi." The soft squeak in his voice made Josh tremble, eyeing him from the side position he was in to avoid being incredibly embarrassed in front of a cute guy.
But Josh wasn't absolutely rude, no, he couldn't be rude to this pretty brunet; so, he turned a bit towards the guy, acknowledging him before opening his mouth. "Uh- hi, he-hello."
Now Josh was just mentally cursing himself because this human being, a very attractive human being was talking to him and he said hi, and all he could do was stutter, and make a mess of himself like he always-
"My name's Tyler." He smiled, pulling his hands behind his back as he ducked his head and looked under his eyelashes to Josh.
