Daisyrae:
A loud groan left my lips, running my fingers through my hair as I opened up the door to mine and Jason's dorm. I had just gone to church and sang in front of everyone. I thought that it was going to be crazy nerve wrecking, but it really wasn't. At first I was nervous and almost ran out when it was time for me to get up there, but I got up there and I sang.
Unfortunately, Jason had told me that he didn't want to come with me, so yeah. He said that he was going to be hanging out with Mari for most of the morning. Knowing that, I decided to spend some time with my mom, since I haven't been able to be around her.
We went shopping after church, well she went shopping, I just walked around with her. We also went to get some lunch. Right now, it was a bit after three. I figured that Jason would be home by now.
As I opened the door, my eyes landed on Jason who was laying on his bed. He had this black pen looking thing in his right hand and in his other hand he gripped my Looking For Alaska book, flipping it back and forth.
"Hey," I greeted, pulling my jacket from my body and making my way over to my bed, tossing it down on there. It wasn't cold outside, but it was a bit breezy today and it looked like it was going to rain earlier.
"Hi," Jason quickly greeted, bringing the black pen thing to his lips and sucking on it for a couple of seconds. As he removed it from his lips, he opened up his mouth letting a cloud of smoke fly out.
My eyes widened at the sight, surprised that he had the nerve to smoke in our room; "What the heck are you doing?" I exclaimed, making my way over to his bed standing over him as if I was intimidating.
He glanced up at me with a look on his face that was hard to make out. It was sort of mixed with a why are you freaking out look and a clam down look. I ignored them anyway, reaching over and grabbing the pen from his hand.
"What is this?" Eyeing the odd stick. He sat up quickly, tossing the book that he had on in his hands beside him and grabbed the pen from me, bringing it to his lips again. He repeated his actions from before, his eyes boring into mine.
"Ryan's coming over," He stated, ignoring my question. He had a tendency of doing that. Ignoring what I was saying to him and going on with whatever he wanted to tell me as if it was the most important thing in the world. Half the time it wasn't.
"Okay." I pushed that back, ignoring the rush of happiness I got knowing that charming boy from last night was coming by again. "Now, what is that?" I asked, nodding my head over to the pen that was hanging between his plump lips.
"It's a hookah pen," He grinned, holding it up so I could see it a bit better. "No!" I nearly shouted. I had no idea what hookah was, but I was not planning on smoking anything – ever. He rolled his eyes at me, swinging his legs so they were hanging over the side of the bed; "It's nothing, just water." He shrugged, inhaling again, before exhaling. I shook my head quickly, putting up my hands to add to the effect. "Definitely not." I groaned, going over to my bed again and sitting down on it.
"You should stop smoking that, though. I don't want anyone to come in here and us getting in trouble," I warned, causing him to roll his eyes. He pulled himself up off of his bed and walking over to his drawer, pulling a shirt over his naked torso.
