Daisyrae:

"Blossom. Dais. Baby. Babe. Daisyrae. DAISY!" Those six words forced me out of my peaceful sleep and into the sadness that I call reality. I blinked my eyes a few times, before I began to gain actual consciousness.

I let my eyes wander around the room, furrowing my eyebrows when I realized that I wasn't in my room. Before I could ask any questions, a yawn was forced out of my mouth. I made an effort to cover my mouth, just in case...bad breath.

The second my mouth closed again, it came to me – the reason why I was at Jason's house and not my own. Last night while we were watching movies and eating, I had fell asleep. He woke me up a few hours after I had slept, asking me if I wanted to just stay over. I agreed, not wanting to leave the comfortable position I was in. He let me know that he was going to call mom to tell me, before he let me go back to sleep.

"Happy birthday, babe." Jason grinned, leaning forward and pressing a soft kiss to my cheek. I gave him a small smile, pulling myself up so I was sitting up on his bed.

"Thank you," I mumbled, biting down on my lip gently. He gave me another smile, reaching beside him and picking up a tray. I gazed at the tray, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. It took me a while to get fully awake.

Jason placed the tray on my lap, finally letting me get a good look. Positioned neatly in front of me were various breakfast foods. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast spread with Nutella, and orange juice. I licked my lips, a grin playing on my lips. Yum, food.

"This looks delicious. Did you make this yourself?" I asked, looking up at him. He nodded his head, a look of pride taking over his features. I grinned, reaching over and grabbing the fork. I carefully cut a piece of the pancake, placing it into my mouth. Flavor exploded in my mouth, causing the corner of my lips to curl up in a smile.

"This is amazing..." I sighed to myself, picking up the syrup and pouring it over the pancakes. These weren't regular Aunt Jemima pancakes, there was something different about them. I tasted vanilla and maybe even chocolate.

"Glad you like them, babe." Jason grinned, moving and getting in bed beside me. I noticed that he was changed out of his clothes from last night. He was now wearing his DOING REAL STUFF sweater, paired with some black sweatpants. His hair was undone, sticking out in random places on his head. From the smell of his shampoo, I knew he had taken a shower.

I kept on eating, every bite sending me in my own type of heaven; "I never knew you could cook, babe." I commented, taking a bite out of the eggs...freaken delicious.

"This is actually the first time I tried..I'm surprised you even like it," He chuckled, running his fingers through his messy hair. I rolled my eyes at his modesty. "Yeah, okay." I shook my head, going back to eating.

My gosh, my boyfriend can cook. That's so sexy. He was so sweet for waking up to make me breakfast, just because it was my birthday. How did I manage to meet someone so...amazing. I couldn't describe my feelings for him...there were no words that could truly get what I was feeling.
