Daisyrae:
My heart was beating like crazy. I couldn't stop praying and asking God if he could just let Jason out. The officer that had came to take him was talking to the Judge right now. Their voices were hushed, but I could tell by her facial expression, she was considering whatever he was telling her.
I let my eyes wander to Jason who was standing up with his lawyer. He hand his hands crossed in front of him. I couldn't see his face, but I knew he was biting down on his lip. He usually did that when he was nervous and seeing that I was a nervous wreck, he had to be as nervous as me..maybe even more.
I guess he felt my gaze on him, because he turned around. His eyes scanned my features for a bit, before he gave me a confident smile. I returned the gesture, but I wasn't feeling it. I knew that something was going to go wrong. Something always went wrong.
The nice officer that had let me go see Jason that night, was seated beside me. She was wearing her regular uniform and a light smile. She seemed like a very nice women. She was the one that got all of this set up and without her, I was almost positive Jason would still be in that small room, driving himself crazy.
Officer Barrientos was stepping away from the Judge's platform and on his way back to his table, he smirked over at Jason. How childish could this man get. Judge Myers sat up, grabbing her gavel and banging it against the thing. She looked over at Jason, keeping the stare for a couple of seconds.
Those seconds were the longest seconds of my life. I was positive that my heart stopped. My breath was caught in my throat and all I could do was wait and see what was going to happen next.
"Jason McCann, your bail is set to one thousand four hundred dollars. You must turn in your passport and an escort will be assigned to you," I groaned slightly to myself. I should have grabbed more money. I only had a thousand. I would have to go back to his house to get the rest of the money or something.
She slammed the gavel down again and everyone started departed. I got up from where I was sitting, running up to the door and waiting for Jason to come. He turned around, walking towards me. He pushed the little gate open and once we were standing face to face he took me into his arms.
He placed a few kisses to my forehead, before he moved his lips down to my ear – whispering; "You brought the money right?" I nodded tapping my fingers against my purse. He grinned, biting down on his lip gently; "Alright, I gotta go back to the police station, that's where I have to wait until bail is paid. Meet me there after you pay," I nodded and he released me, walking over to Valentina and following her out of the room.
Now, I just needed to get a bit more money.

Jason:
Being released was the best feeling ever. I was so glad to see sunlight, feel the fresh air. I wanted to go down and kiss the ground – but that would be gross. Right now, I was in my bedroom, getting dressed before Daisy came back over.
