You've been hanging out with your childhood bestfriend, Taehyung a lot lately because Sehun has been very busy, travelling all around the world, promoting EXO. Everytime he has some free time, he would either be too tired to Facetime or he would be catching a flight to another country. 

It really upsets you because you feel like you're the only one putting effort in the relationship. You totally understand that that's his job and you're totally fine with it but he can't even remember to text you on your birthday? He even forgot your anniversary together a few months back.

It's my birthday! Yay! 

It's my birthday today but I still haven't gotten a birthday wish from Sehun. He's currently in Jeju Island, he's been online on KakaoTalk since this morning but he's ignoring all my texts. 

It's been so long since Sehun and I texted each other. I'm starting to think that maybe he's into someone else? But i'm trying my best to ignore that thought though. Enough with this, maybe I should just forget about him for a day, and try to enjoy my birthday today.

I am going out with Taehyung today, he's going to treat me some steak at this high end restaurant in Hongdae. I'm so excited. It's the most expensive restaurant in Korea!!! That's just.... wow....

I am going to get ready now, he's going to pick me up in a few hours.

Sehun's POV

It's Jaeni's birthday today. I wasn't replying to her texts because i'm flying out to Seoul today, to surprise her. I hope she's not too mad at me. I've been really busy with EXO, with a new song and choreography coming up, it's very HECTIC!

I try so hard to make time for Jaeni but it's just so hard. That's why I decided to ask our manager in advanced, about surprising her today, and thank God, he approved.

I'm flying to Seoul with Suho, Chanyeol and Baekhyun, as they will help me with the surprise. 

The plan is, Suho's going to give Jaeni  a call and ask her to get ready as he and Chanyeol will be picking her up while Baekhyun and I are going to decorate the restaurant for her.

Oh, i am going to surprise Jaeni at this high end restaurant in Hongdae, since she likes to eat steak, might as well take her to the most expensive restaurant in Korea, right? I hope she will enjoy today!

We've landed in Seoul! I am going to our dorm to change my outfit and freshen up a little bit, then i am going to head straight to the restaurant. 

I've changed into a white button up and some black jeans. I styled my hair differently today, a much more neat style.

After getting ready, Baekhyun and I headed straight to the restaurant while Suho and Chanyeol were still getting ready before giving the call to Jaeni.

Your POV

I was eating the steak while laughing every once in a while at Taehyung's jokes. While I was chewing the juicy black pepper steak, I saw a very familiar figure entering the restaurant, as I was sitting facing the entrance of the restaurant. Soon, another familiar figure followed the guy from behind.

He was holding a lot of balloons and they were covering their faces so I couldn't really see them.

The first guy who walked in looked exactly like Sehun, I thought. But that couldn't be possible because Sehun's in Jeju Island with his other hyungs. So I just ignored the thought.

I continued eating and enjoying the overpriced steak until I didn't even notice there were some black pepper gravy on the sides of my lips.

I was talking to Taehyung and suddenly he took his napkins and wiped the sides of my lips with it.

I was so shocked by his action but I was even more shock to see the person standing next to our table, staring at me, with eyes widen. 

It was Sehun.. He was at a loss for words. His eyes were filled with anger, and jealousy.

"Sehun-ah..", i said, slightly trembling, not because you were scared, more like shocked.

"Jaeni-ah, what  are you doing here? With Taehyung?!", he replied, slightly screaming, he was trying so hard to keep his cool.

"He's treating me here today because it's my birthday today.. Oh yeah, it's my birthday today, Sehun. Looks like you forgot about it"S

Sehun looked at me with a shocked face and grab his hands on my arms and forcefully draggedme out of the restaurant, without even caring about Taehyung's "where are you taking her" and "what the hell, Sehun!!"

After walking to the restaurant's garden, which was right in front of the restaurant, fortunately there's a bench right in the middle of the garden, Sehun and I sat down there.

Silence... silence...

"I'm sorry", was all I could say at that time.

"Sorry? For what, Jaeni-ah?", he replied, coldly.

"For going out with Taehyung without telling me or.....? Hmm, let me think, did you invite him to your apartment too, while I was away?", he added.

"What the hell, Sehun! You know me better I am not that kind of girl. Plus, Taehyung's my childhood bestfriend, Sehun! For God's sake! I only see him as a friend, more like a brother and He's kind enough to cheer me up on my birthday.", I replied.

"Wait. What are you even sad about?", Sehun asked with curiosity, facing me.

"You forgot my birthday, Sehun-ah!! It's not the first time, you forgot our anniversary too!! And what the hell are you doing in Seoul? You said you were in Jeju Island!! You didn't even reply to my texts!", I replied, screaming.

"Jaeni-ah...... I did forget about our anniversary but I didn't forget about your birthday, jagi. I was not replying you because I was flying out to Seoul, to surprise you on your birthday."

I looked at Sehun and Sehun looked at me. 

"So.... surprise, jagi...", Sehun said, opening his arms wide open.

Both of us were staring at each other, not saying anything. 

A smile started to form on Sehun's chapped lips. I started to smile too. He straightaway hugged me, very tightly, whispering "I'm sorry" countless times.

That night, Sehun and I went to Han River, walked hand in hand, and talked. Drank bubble tea and did a bunch of fun stuff.
