Wolve's Pride

Izo Part 11

My hand begin to grow forming into a paw. Nails grew long and sharp and a murky yellow, teeth ripping threw my gums and I begin to gain some canine features . I'm so scared and confused. I have urges to kill after seeing Ikyo's wound. I went to attack with no second thoughts. I wanted blood.

I needed it.

I tore the scarred wolf's jugular with my teeth and tore it out. The other two scampered off. I went to run after them but then I was stopped by a kind and reassuring hand. "Yuki..." Him just saying my name causes me to whimper and wail. I found myself with my head on his chest full of tears back to my human form.

" I just killed someone...What am I?" He pulled me off and smiled at me. "Most people wouldn't of stopped. He was a bad person-- you did the right thing--I promise--" I wiped my tear filled sockets.

"I hoped I did. I'm so sorry they hurt you." He didn't seem bothered bout the wound on his right cheek. "It's not your fault. Besides it's not deep it'll heal to a scar within days so don't you worry." I nodded but I knew he it stung like hell for him but I didn't want to annoy him so I said nothing.

"I'm just glad you're okay Yuki."

"Can I ask you a question?-- Are you Izo?" He put his finger to his lips. "Our secret." He winked and I nodded and smiled with my face glowing a bright crimson. I can't believe I'm a wolf.
Is that why I was invited. Did they know? Did they know about Ikyo? No probably not but it looks like Keizo has his suspicions about it.

I have a lot of questions for you Izo. "Why were you banished?" He looked at me with confusion and then laughed.

"It's quite the story, you see, the village was at war with a northern tribe but they didn't know it but J had been spying on them because I had my suspicions and one night I overheard them plotting to slaughter Akira and the rest of us and since he has an already troubled background he would shut himself off if he was to be betrayed by his brothers so I decided to take matters into my own hands let's just say, a one man army and well it didn't turn out great for them but when the others arrived they thought I killed them in cold blood and they didn't listen to me explain. So in result, I was banished."

"I thought it was your fault." He stroked my cheek and left his hand there causing me to blush. "So did I Yuki--So did I."
