Izo Part 14

"Thank you Izo." I smile at him and he quickly turns his head away. "You don't have to keep saying sorry. I-it's fine."

I was thinking about what he said earlier. Why was I so special they'd want to come after me?

"Izo, why do they want me?"

"Why are thinking about that? You're safe here. Akira used to use this house for emergencies. He's always so overly cautious that guy... You really wanna know huh?"

I stare with keen eyes. He was taken back by my expression but then regained his composure.

"You have a special power about you. I sensed it when I first sighted you and I was immediately intrigued. I don't know what quite it is yet but I know it's definitely there."

I see...We return to watching a silly cartoon on the TV. His face was like a happy child's and I couldn't help but giggle a little. So he does have a childish side.

"Why are you laughing?" He asked confused. Cocking his head to his side. "You just look so cute watching this cartoon." He starts to blush and the turns his head down at his watch and notices the time. "I'll go make some lunch for us b-bye."

I tried to say thank you but before I could he already sprinted off to the other room.

Izo P.O.V
What's wrong with me I'm never usually this nervous? Why do I care so much about her?
I wasn't paying attention and then I cut my finger with the knife and the shock of it caused me to scream. "Ahh." It's just a stupid cut but Yuki ran over to me with such concerned eyes.

"Just a cut Yuki nothing to be worried over." She didn't seem to hear me and kept looking in the cupboards and found a plaster. She wrapped it around my finger. She looked up at me and smiled.

I felt my face go a velvet red and looked away. "Tsk. Waste of a plaster." She just laughed her usual laugh. So cute.

Wait what am I talking about jeez being with her puts off my rhythm. I'm not sure if I hate it or love it.
