They arrived at the movies ten minutes before the movie started. They sat down, talking quietly and waiting. "Wait, I forgot, what homework did we have in science and history?" Clark asked.
"We have to-" Johanna started, but someone interrupted.
"Oh," a girl voice said, giggling a bit. Clark looked up to see Mandy Howarrd. Her long brown hair was curled, she wore bright pink lipstick, and a short pink dress. She was with some people Clark didn't know. "it's that lesbian girl and her stupid little friend." She said, laughing with her friends.
"Oh, shut up Mandy." Clark told.
"It's kind of funny," Mandy said, looking at Johanna. "I thought you'd be with a girl. But I guess not!" Her friends laughed. "Oh, Johanna hun, I feel so bad for you. You live such a poor life." She shook her head. "I wish I could pity you," she smirked, "but I can't."
Johanna opened her mouth, but then shut it. The girls left, leaving Clark and Johanna alone. The rest of the time she was silent, the excitement that she had now gone, all because of Mandy.-
