Bopping back and forth, I turn up the radio and continue to dance. I slide past the kitchen bench and towards the fridge. Opening the door, I drop down and then spring upwards. I throw my hands in the air and wiggle my butt back and forth. Grabbing the vegetables out, I dance backwards with an arm full of vegetables.

As I chop up the ingredients, I continue to swivel from side to side. It's only when the chorus plays, I put the knife down and start singing aloud. I laugh at how awkward my voice sounds, but I keep singing.

The front door opens but that doesn't put me off my mood. I walk around the bench and towards the hallway. I run towards Blake and wrap my arms around his neck as I roughly crash into his body.

With a light moan of pain, Blake wraps his arms around my body and picks me up. He carries me into the kitchen before placing me on my feet. I start dancing again, a little more outrageous to hook his attention. When my favourite parts to sing come on, I looking over my shoulder to serenade Blake with my beautiful voice.

Blake stands by the bench laughing at me along with a slight shake to his head. I finally manage to get him dancing when the song is close to finishing. He does his own awkward dance where he holds his hands up and shakes his bottom.

When the song finishes and people start talking on the show, I turn the volume down and smile at him.

"Hey, how was your day?" I ask.

I go back to the bench and continue chopping up the vegetables for dinner.

"Yeah, good." He shrugs his shoulders.

Blake wraps his arms around my waist and then rests his head on my shoulder. His hands instantly go under my shirt and hold onto my stomach. I feel his tense body relax as he melts into mine. Just having Blake's presence around makes me incredibly happy.

"How was your day, Ava?" he asks.

"I got a text message from the doctors reminding me of my appointment today. I thought about cancelling but I decided to go in."

"You went without me?" Blake instantly pulls away from me, which quickly alerts me to the fact I've done something wrong. I knew he was going to be angry, but I needed to go and he can't take time off work.

"I'm sorry, it was a complete last minute thing."

"What happened? Is everything okay?"

"I got my first ultrasound." I smile. "It was gross. I'm certainly not going to get used to people going near my private parts." I shake my head with disgust.

"You like it when . . ."

"Ewwww." I cover my ears and cut off the rest of Blake's sentence. My childish reaction only makes him burst out laughing.

"I'm sorry, baby." But from the humours glow in his green eyes, I can tell he's not.

"Yeah, I'm sure." I shoot him a playful glare. "I got to see the baby on the monitor and I even have a picture for you."
