Okay so, I got tagged to write about how I met someone, or how I came to be friends with someone. So here's the story of how I met Jean Chase, aka lillsparrow22
It all started in our music program. We had the same tutor so, I saw her a lot however I didn't develop my crush until I heard one of her songs. I had such a huge crush on her I couldn't talk to her and at the time she was dating someone else. But one day we finally got to formally meet.
We were both auditioning for a college music program, with only three days until auctions it was obvious that some of us were tense. Especially Jean, I found her in the hallway staring at the sign up list and I walked up and looked at the list with her. We nodded and exchanged looks and I asked,
"Are you alright?" She nodded and smiled and said.
"I'm a little nervous, but I'm fine."
"Wanna get something to drink?" I blurted out. She looked at me with her brown eyes. My heart skipped a beat when she said yes. I drove us to Starbucks and pulled into the drive thru. As I was reading the menu Jean tapped my shoulder. I looked over at her and she had her head facing down at her lap.
"I don't like coffee." She said, "sorry, I should have said something."
"Uh-no, its fine they've got hot chocolate."
"Oh, okay." She smiled at me awkwardly. I ordered a white chocolate moca for Jean and a normal coffee for myself.
"So you don't like coffee?" I asked.
"No," she said. I looked at her, "I hate it. I can't stand it." We both looked at each other and laughed. We sat in my car in the parking lot and talked. We talked about the collage auditions and other things. She told me about how she decided to play 'Merry Go Round Life.' From Howl's Moving Castle. She fell in love how classical and childish the song was. She also mentioned that the song reminded her of a person she knew. We talked all night, about everything and anything really. The best thing about Jean, was her dark brown eyes and how they looked in the light. Her eyes had several different shades. At first they look to be this really dark brown, then when the light hits them they turned into this light coco brown, and when the sun hit them they turned into this beautiful caramel that made her look even more perfect.
The day of the collage auditions, I walked off the stage after playing The Farewell from Civil War. I walked out side and waited outside of the auditorium doors. After a little waiting I watched Jean and her violin get on stage. Her song was childish and playful, but very flawless. However a week later we found out neither one of us got in, but it wasn't so bad because we ended up writing a song together and then writing a whole bunch of songs together.
That is how I met Jean Chase.
Now these are the people I'm tagging.
