I lay pinned under the dark figure of Bucky, his cold metal hand pinning both my wrists above my head. I struggle to get out of his grip, but he doesn't seem to notice - doesn't even budge. His other hand wraps around my throat, slamming my head against the concrete floor. I let out a gasp as the room begins to spin and I grow nauseous. His entire body weight is on me now. I feel like I won't be able to breathe soon, his massive shape crushing my ribcage. I know he is going to kill me, just like he killed the others, just like he'll kill Steve, but part of me still refuses to believe he is completely gone. Despite the dimly lit room, I can still see his piercing blue eyes through his wet, messy hair. I find the last bit of breath in me and try to put it to good use.
"Please, Bucky..." I whisper through clenched teeth.
His hand only gets tighter around my neck.
"Listen to me... don't do this..." But that's it. That's all I have left. I can feel the tears streaming down the sides of my face, not necessarily from the horror of seeing him so inhuman, but from the strain in my neck as I gasp for breath.
Slowly, as a shiver creeps up my spine, a sinister smile forms across my boyfriend's face. And then I know it is over.
