   During lunch Max (my crush!) came to sit with us, I stared at him weirdly and he winked. Ashlee started flirting with him,

   "So." Ashlee stared at him twisting her hair on her finger

   "So?" He said clearly blind. I smacked my head against the table. At Least I had hope.

   "Hi Max!" I smiled brightly at him. Ashlee gave me a glare

   "Let's go!" Ashlee said hooking her arm in his and basically dragging him away.

   I watched them walk to a different table, I frowned as I watched him playing with his food while Ashlee was yapping about stuff, probably. I shook my head and began eating the disgusting thing in front of me, cafeteria food. But I had to give points to Ashlee for her disaster yesterday in science.

A poster caught my eye.

   I had to ask Max before Ashlee did she is my best friend but, still

   Ashlee went to get a drink of water so I made my way over to max. "Umm, Hi Max"

   "Hey" he said and smiled cutely

   "So there's a dance on Friday...."

   "Yeah I heard."

   I saw Ashlee in the corner of my eye so I had to hurry up, apparently Max saw her too because he started laughing like I said the funniest thing in the world. He has a nice laugh.

   "So what about the dance?" He said curiously

   "Doyou want togo withme" I said a little fast "I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?"

   "I'd be happy to go with you!" he smiled cutely

   I was so happy but I had to get out of there

   "Thanks for the math tips." I told him as Ashlee approached

   "Yeah anytime." he said winking I walked back to my table

   I knew Ashlee had seen the poster so I knew she was asking him. Her face went from cute to ugly then mad. She had just gotten rejected. She didn't glance my way so I knew that Max didn't say who he was going with. I swear the day couldn't get any better.
