Chapter 2: Ice and Fire

Angel's P.O.V

The next morning I wake up remembering that Kaname is giving me a month to decide if I want to be a vampire. Truthfully I do want to be a vampire, but I don't want to leave my friends. I get up and get changed. I walk towards class deciding to skip breakfast this morning. I then decide to go talk to Kaname.

I head towards the Moon dorm and walk in. I see Kaname and Hanabusa Aidou sitting in the lounge area talking. I notice that there are two new vampires. Who are these vampires?

One of the girls looks at me and whispered something to Kaname. The girl had straight light brown hair and light blue eyes that almost looked gray. The other was a black curly hair with green eyes. Kaname looks at me and smiles. He gets up and walks over to me. "What are you doing here Angel don't you have class?" Kaname asked curiously.

"I do have class but who are they?" I shot back.

"They are Miruna Fournier and Kira Star. They just transferred to this school and are part of the night class," Kaname answered with a smile.

Kira gave Kaname a smile then shot a glare at me. Miruna shot me a glare then went back to talking with Kira and Hanabusa. "Kaname about what you said I don't know if I would want to be a vampire," I told Kaname truthfully.

To tell the truth I don't want to be a vampire because I am scared. "You have a month to make your decision. The choice is yours to make," Kaname said with a smile.

He walks back over to Hanabusa, Miruna, and Kira. I turn around and walk back outside. I head towards class. When I get to class I walk in and ignore the teacher making my way to my seat next to Zero. "Where have you been?" Zero asked me as I was sitting down.

"That's none of your concern," I shot back.

I don't exactly get along with Zero. "Did you hear there are two new girls in the night class?" Zero asked me.

"Yeah I heard. I ran into them on my way to class today. I don't like them," I snapped.

"Why because they are friends of Kaname and Hanabusa. I hear one of them is dating Kaname and the other is dating Hanabusa," Zero stated with a smirk.

I shot Zero a glare and then turn back to listen to the teacher. That explains some things now. I want to know why they are joining this school now and not earlier?

After class was over it was time for the disciplinary committee to go to work. Zero and Yuki have already left to go to the moon dorm to make sure none of the day class students get in. I arrive at the moon dorm and shot some girls glares. They shut up as soon as I shot them a glare. The gate to the moon dorm opened and the night class walk out. I see Miruna is walking next to Hanabusa and talking to him. She glances at me with a glare then looks back at Hanabusa. Kira and Kaname walk out talking and Kira shot me a glare before looking at Kaname with a smile and start talking again. Kaname looks at me but I shot him a glare. I look away I was a little heartbroken to hear what Zero said earlier. Why did he have to date her?

"What's wrong with you?" Zero asked walking up next to me a look of concern on his face.

"Nothing," I snapped coldly walking away. "I am going to do a perimeter check."

I walk around the grounds of Cross Academy. I make sure that no day class students are walking around and that the night class students are in class. While walking around I run into Hanabusa and his cousin Akatsuki Kain. "Hey it's Angel-chan," Hanabusa said cheerfully.

"Shouldn't you two be in class," I said with a glare.

I didn't trust these two vampires and for good reason. "You're not being friendly today are you?" Akatsuki remarked.

"I never am. I suggest you two get back to class," I said to them coldly.

"Or what?" Hanabusa challenged with a smirk.

The ground under my feet turned to ice and then ice covered my feet freezing my feet to the ground. Hanabusa walks closer to me and I wanted to back up but couldn't. He was about to grab my hand when I shot electricity at him with my hand. My eyes widen as I just realized what I've just done. "What the hell just happened?" Hanabusa snapped looking at me with a glare.

I didn't even know what just happened. Then I try again and shot electricity at Akatsuki then at Hanabusa. "I said go back to class," I snapped at both of them.

Hanabusa and Akatsuki both glare at me. The ice at my feet started to freeze up my legs. The tree behind me catches fire. I glare at them. "You two should get back to class before Kaname finds out what you are doing," someone said walking up next to me.

It was Zero and for once I was actually happy to see him. "Tsk our fun is over," Hanabusa said with a glare towards Zero.

Hanabusa looks at me and smiles. "See you later Angel-chan," Hanabusa said cheerfully walking away. He glares at Zero again as he is walking away. Akatsuki glares at Zero then follows Hanabusa. My feet unfreeze as they both walk away. The tree was back to normal like it had never caught on fire. "Thanks," I said looking at Zero.

"What did you think you were doing Angel," Zero asked/snapped but a had a look of concern in his eyes.

"My job," I remarked with a glare.

I walk away without another word. I then head back to mine and Yuki's room. I change and go to sleep I want to know more about those two new vampires maybe I can ask Kaname about them tomorrow.
