Chapter 3: A Pureblood and a Level E

Kira's P.O.V

My name is Kira Star and I am eighteen years old. Miruna Fournier is my best friend but I call her Mira for short and she is nineteen. We have been best friend's since we were in preschool. Miruna and I are Pureblood vampires. I am dating the Pureblood vampire Kaname Kuran. Mira is dating Hanabusa Aidou who is a vampire, but not a Pureblood. Mira and I are heading to our new school Cross Academy. "Have you talked to Kaname today besides when he called you about the school?" Mira asked curiously.

"I haven't heard anything. He never gave me a reason why we are even going to this school. All I know is there is some girl that doesn't remember anything and might choose to be human instead of a vampire," I replied.

"Why won't Kaname ever say give more details on things," my best friend groaned.

"I don't know. Have you talked to Hanabusa today?" I questioned.

"No he was asleep when I called," she told me.

"We are here," the driver told us pulling up to Cross Academy.

"Thanks," I said getting out of the car.

Mira and I walk up to the gate. The gate opens and we see Kaname and Aido are waiting for us. "Mira-chan! Kira-chan!" Aido greeted cheerfully with a smile.

"Hey Aido and Kaname," Mira said with a smile.

Aido calls Miruna by the nickname Mira too. "Kaname will you tell us why we are here?" I asked impatiently.

I really don't want to be at this school. I didn't want to go to school at all. So why does Kaname want us here? Kaname looks at me with no expression. "I will explain everything when we get to the moon dorm," Kaname said with a smile.

"Fine let's go," I said with a sigh of defeat.

Mira and I follow Kaname and Aido to the moon dorm. When we get inside we walk over to a lounge area. Mira and I sit on one of the couches and Kaname and Aido sit on another. "Alright enough stalling I want to know why you made us attend this school," I said coldly.

"There is a girl at this school who is a vampire but her vampire was put to sleep. She thinks I put her vampire to sleep, but I didn't," Kaname said with a frown.

"Who put her vampire to sleep then?" I asked curiously.

"That's why you two are here. Kira you can look into the mind of people maybe you can look through her memories that she can't remember to find the answer," Kaname said seriously.

"Kaname you know Kira and I would rather cause trouble than try to find the truth out about someone," Mira cut in seriously.

"Mira-chan can you please try to help Kaname instead of cause trouble?" Aido asked Mira.

Mira looks at me looking for an answer. I scratch the back of my head thinking of a response. "Fine, we'll help," I respond with a sigh.

"Thank you Kira," Kaname said with a smile of relief.

"We will help but that doesn't mean we won't cause trouble," I remarked.

Then a girl with blond hair and hazel eyes walks in. She looks familiar but where have I seen her from? "Who is that?" I whispered to Kaname looking at the girl.

Kaname looks at the girl and smiles then looks at me. "That's the girl I was talking about," Kaname whispered to me getting up and walking over to her. The girl had a day class uniform on. "So she is part of the day class," I whispered to Mira and Aido.
