Chapter 4: Junk or Treasure

Miruna's P.O.V

So yesterday Kira and I transferred to this school. Kira is dating Kaname and I am dating Aido. Yesterday Kira told us that Angel's family was not killed by Rido Kuran. If they weren't killed by Rido Kuran who killed them? How did Angel run into Rido Kuran then? "Mira wake up we are supposed to go shopping today," I heard Kira call from the door.

If Rima and Ruka never asked me to go shopping Kira wouldn't be going. I know that Kira might be friends with Ruka, but Kira hates Ruka because she tried to steal Kaname from her. Ruka has always been jealous of Kira. I get up and get changed. I walk out of my room down to the lounge area to see Kira talking to Rima and Ruka. Kaname was sitting next to Kira and Aido sat on the other side of Kira. I walk over and sit between Aido and Kira. "Hey Mira," Kira greeted with a smile.

It's been a long time since Kira has ever smiled. What happened that changed her? "Hey Kira. Did you find out who killed Angel's parents?" I asked curiously.

Kira went from smiling to pissed lightning fast. "No, I was reading the page was missing. It looked like someone ripped it out," Kira stated.

"Someone knows the truth and doesn't want anyone else to find out," Aido stated.

"I want to know who ripped the page out," Kira stated.

"Kira someone could have ripped out years ago," Rima told Kira.

"You're probably right," Kira admitted.

"Well let's go shopping," I said trying to change the subject.

"Yeah let's go," Kira agreed.

Rima, Ruka, Kira, and I get up and leave. "Don't be late for class," Kaname called after us.

"We won't be," Kira told him walking out the door.

The three of us follow her. We walk towards town. Kira and I have just found out that it is Takuma Ichijou's birthday. Kira wants to find a new dress for the party. I offered to lend her one but she wanted to get a new one. Kira is acting different what could have happened that has changed her. We walk into a shop with tons of dresses. I seen one that really catches my eye. I didn't plan on getting a new dress but I think I will. Kira went through the dresses and picked one that was layered black and red. The two colors blended together the dress was beautiful. It suited Kira and the dress was short it was four inches above the knee. I picked out a plain black dress that was tight and it came a few inches above my knees. The dress suited me it was perfect.

After we buy the dresses we head back to the academy. It was almost time for class. However Kira and I were skipping class today. Kaname wanted Kira and I to clean Aido's room before inspections today.

We threw out anything we thought was junk and kept whatever we thought was treasure. Almost everything was junk. It took us about four hours to clean his room. "Hey Mira, we better hurry up class will be over to soon," Kira told me.

"Let Aido come back. We threw everything that was junk away already," I laughed.

"Yeah, but inspections are soon and the faster we get this done the faster we can leave. I honestly don't want to see that girl Angel," Kira stated.

"So what you are just going to leave her with Kaname here," I questioned with a smirk.

"Damn it, you're right Kaname wouldn't leave here anyway," Kira snapped.

"Besides she won't be here that long. She is just doing inspections and then leaving," I told her.

"You hate her too so why are you going to stay here?" Kira questioned.

"I was just going to stay with Aido, but after this I don't think that's such a good idea so I was going to hang out with his cousin and Ruka," I answered.

"What happened to my room!" Aido yelled from the doorway.

"We cleaned it," Kira said with a smirk.

They must have gotten back from class while we were talking. "Yeah, but we are finished so we are just going to go back to our rooms," I stated walking past Aido.

Kira heads out of the room and downstairs to the lounge. I walk over to Ruka and Kain. "Hey Mira," Ruka and Kain greeted.

"Hey, do you two want to head out to town before the disciplinary committee gets here?" I asked them.

"You don't even have to ask me. You know I will do anything to get away from the disciplinary committee," Ruka stated.

"Yeah let's go," Kain agreed.

"Where are you guys heading?" Rima asked walking over with Shiki not far behind.

"We are just heading into town," I told her.

"Do you two want to come?" Ruka asked them.

"Yes," they both replied in unison.

The five of us walk out of the Moon dorm to town. We honestly didn't want to be anywhere near the disciplinary committee. I felt a little bad leaving Kira behind, but she needed to work things out with Kaname and Angel. Kaname knows something about Angel that he isn't telling us. He would tell Kira if no one else is around. Halfway to town the five of us feel the presence of another vampire and level E vampires. We get into town and I see the other vampire. I run after her she seemed familiar but I don't know why. When I caught up to her I notice that she is a Pureblood, but not just any Pureblood. She is the one who killed Zero's family and turned Zero into a vampire. He needs to drink her blood or he will become a level E. Her name is Hio Shizuka. She is also my older sister. She is the reason why I changed my name and left. "What are you doing here?" I questioned my sister.

"Miruna Fournier isn't that what you go by now little sister," my sister stated.

"Hio, why are you here?" I questioned her.

"I just came to see you and some friends of yours that are at Cross Academy," she answered with a smirk.

"That's not why your here. What's the real reason?" I shot back at her.

"Actually you're right, but I'm not telling you. I would tell a Shizuka, but you're not a Shizuka anymore, Mina," my sister remarked.

Before I could say anything in response she was gone. My sister being here could not mean anything good. She must be here for Zero or maybe Angel. I run to catch up to the others only to find them fighting level E vampires. I run over and help them. "Where were you?" Kain questioned.

"I ran into another vampire," I answered.

"Who?" Ruka asked.

"Hio Shizuka," I answered.

"What is she doing here?" Rima questioned.

"I don't know, but I do know that it can't be anything good," I told them.

"We better get back to Cross Academy," Shiki stated.

The five us head back to Cross Academy. What is my sister doing here? She is up to something and I'm going to find out what she's up too.
