Chapter 12

You sat at the table in Alphys's kitchen. It was a short brown table something like Japanese table. It had a white doilie in the middle to decorate the plain brown kitchen table. Alphys handed you a bowl of noodles, which had orange chicken in it. She must really love the Japanese culture... how is she not my best friend already? Japanese culture always struck you as fascinating. You loved to watch anime, eat their food, and you just loved how much respect and honor were a big part of their society.

A month has passed by since your surprise birthday party and fall was coming. The leaves on the tree were turning into bright reds, oranges, and yellows. The days were getting shorter and nights were getting longer. The tempature lowered into a nice cool breeze just cold enough to wear a light jacket. People were already preparing themselves for Halloween, carving out pumpkins and finding costumes. You started to wonder what you were going to do for the holiday. Your grandmother disapproved of Halloween, you hadn't celebrated it since you were nine.

Your grandmother had come back from her cruise. You had greeted her with a home made meal, and she seemed to like it. As much as you hang, you had to keep lying to your grandmother where you would be so you could hang out with your new set of friends without worrying. You hated to lie to her, but you knew what would happen if she ever found out.

"U-u-mmm, (y/n)? Are you ok?" The small yellow dinosaur asked with a worried expression on your face. She was sitting from across from you, pointing her index claws towards each other in a timid manner.

You smile widely, I need to stop wondering off in my own mind. Alphys invited me here to help her with the wedding. "I'm sorry, I was just thinking. Now what we're you saying?"

Alphys seems to relax a bit and slides a binder to you. "I need help with the flowers. Normally I would ask Mettaton but uh, he can be very uhm-" She cuts off taking a bite of her noodles from her chopsticks.

"He doesn't listen to your opinion and could be kind of demanding?" You finish her sentence with a knowing look. As much as you loved the singing robot, you knew he could be somewhat difficult to be with. I wonder how Papy does it, silently questioning the power of the taller skeleton.

The yellow monster giggled as she nodded her head yes. "He wants it all with red roses. Everywhere, the walk way, the chairs, even on the buffet table. I think he just wants it that way so he could pose dramatically at every chance he got. Red roses are his favorite".

You laugh as you picture the celebrity posing on the buffet table with red rose petals falling slowly in the back ground as well as pink glitter. "But that his favorite flower. What's yours? Does Undyne have one?", you ask curiously raising your left eyebrow.

"Well, I do love tulips and Undyne likes l-" Alphys started to say as the front door flew open by powerful kick. You turned your body to look at what was going on. It was Undyne, Papyrus, and Sans. Undyne had a huge grin on her face.

"Sorry Al, I'll get the door fixed... again", she apologized as she laughed. For some reason, you felt as though she wasn't sorry. You moved to the couch, finished with your noodles.

"Heya Kitty", the small skeleton say as he plops on the flower pattern couch on the other end. "Whatcha doin here?"

Alphys starts to protest nervously as Undyne and Papyrus start to wrestle. You hear Undyne say that she wasn't going to lose to the skeleton and Papyrus infamous "NYEHEHEH!"

You laugh as you here what's going on the background. This has became the norm of you and your friends. They were always doing something crazy in the backdrops of things. "I was trying to help Alphys with the wedding before I was so rudely interrupted", you say as you playfully roll your eyes.

"Well if it was up to me, I would be asleep right now. Doing absolutely nothing."

You scoffed at him. "You rather sleep than hang out with your friends? Geez thanks Sans, I feel really good now. Good to know we are friends", you say sarcastically rolling your eyes once more.

"I can't help it. Do the least amount of effort is my motto on life", he says with an extra lazy tone and closing his eyelids as if he were to go to sleep.
You sigh heavily saying whatever. You playfully pushed him, but he doesn't move an inch nor does he open is eyelids. You sighed once more.

"Fine be that way", you say as you giggle. You know what he is trying to do, but you won't fall for it. "I'm going to join Undyne and Papyrus. I'll both show em how to wrestle." You hid another giggle as you got up and started to walk towards the others. When suddenly you felt a bony hand around your wrist.

"Since when do you know how to wrestle?" The small skeleton asked with his eyes opened. I win!, you thought to yourself feeling proud.

You laughed heavily as you say "wouldn't you like to know?"

Okay my faithful readers, I do apologize for this being short and for you waiting for so long for this filler chapter. That's right I admit it's a filler, but it's for a good reason I promise. Major stuff is going down in next chapter, can yall guess? Let me give you a hint, there is no monsters involve. Probably. :/ sorry I'm not good at giving guesses. Tomorrow I'm going to go in vacation. Not on here but I won't be posting for tomorrow or the day after. Sorry ;-; but I am really excited about the next few chapters. So I might do like Twitter chapters a day to make up for being off on my sort of schedule. Anywho, I hope you like the chapter I know it was kind of short and it is a filler and it is kind of a cliffhanger. I'm sorry;-;
