The first live show soon arrived and everyone was bustling around backstage, frantically racing back and forth trying to find out if everything was perfect for the first live show.

Around a high white table the four girls sat, waiting for their cue to enter the stage even though they knew it would be a long until it came as they were the final contestants to perform and the show hadn't even started yet.

Each of the girls wore a different bright neon colour within their outfit; Shannon, a neon pink just above the knee sleeveless skater dress with a thin neon yellow belt buckled around her natural waist paired with white converse and jewelry to match; Chloe, a neon blue t-shirt along with a black leather look skater skirt and blue Jeffrey Campbell heeled boots and jewelry to match the top; Becky, a neon purple slightly oversized t-shirt, denim shorts, a white letterman jacket and black wedged trainers with a tiny amount of jewelry too; Finally, Summer wore a neon yellow tank top, black skinny jeans and white hi-tops with jewelry. How colour co-ordinated they were reminded Chloe and Shannon of JLS when they were on the x Factor with a assigned colour each. Maybe it would become their 'thing' as time continues. Probably not actually...

Eventually, the show started and Hannah took the stage singing her version of 'What's Love Got To Do With It?' by Tina Turner followed by Nicolas (Sang 'True'). By the time Nicolas finished the Kingsland Road boys had joined the the four girls at their table and were some where in a game of 'What's the Rebus puzzle?' which basically is when each person takes it in turn to draw a picture/pictures that represent a word, saying or etc.

"How the hell is that an elephant!?" Shannon questioned as Thompson tried to draw a picture representing 'Dumbo' or as Thompson drew it a swatted fly with enlarged wings on it's face with a hose as a nose.

"It's close enough, you ended up guessing it so ha!" He argued back.

"Still, a five year old could do better than that."

"Oo, can't you sense the love in the air?!" Matt chuckled as Thompson gave him a deathly glare.

A middle aged balding man walked up to the table before simply stating "Kingsland Road, you're on now."

With a hug and a sneaky kiss on the cheek from Connor to Chloe and Thompson to Shannon, the boys left to do their performance which honestly went perfectly, the judges and audience loved it so yay! When the boys returned they hugged the girls once more before returning to their game of Rubus puzzles where it was now Chloe's turn to draw one. She began by drawing a fail of a star with legs, a road (two swiggly lines either side of the star) and a suitcase next to the star.

"What the hell is that!?" Summer questioned, turning the piece of paper to face her so she can get a better look.

"Think! Star..." She replied, making her two fingers walk across the table.

"Walk?" Jay asked.

"Stroll?" Connor inquired.

"Oh my God seriously, Star Stroll? Really?"

"Well I don't know! What the hell is that drawing suppose to be!"

"What do you go on starting with a T!?"

"TREK! STAR TREK!" Becky shouted.

"Finally, someone got it!" Chloe sarcastically clapped.

"It was a pretty rubbish drawing to be fair." Connor shrugged.

"You try drawing Star Trek then!"

"Ahh, young love! Bless!" Josh joked as Connor shot him daggers.

"Skyway Avenue, you're next so can you please make your way to the side of the stage?" The same balding man as before reappeared and asked.

The girls stood up, now shaking with fear and hugged the boys one last time (with a not so sneaky kiss on the cheek again from Thompson and Connor which didn't go unmissed) before following the man to the side of the stage.

Waiting off stage for their cue, the girls' hearts were racing, cheeks were flushing and increasing in heat as butterflies started to grow in the pits of their stomachs. They were shitting it is the simplest way of saying it. They had to good tonight, they had too. They had to make their parents, siblings, friends and other family members proud.

Chloe gripped her skirt tightly with her sweaty hands as she tried to breathe slowly and try to persuade herself she and the girls had rehearsed enough. Shannon fiddled with her belt as she heard their opening trailer start to play while she went through the choreography and song lyrics in her head one last time.

Once again the balding man appeared and quickly checked their in-ears, battery packs and hand them their silver crystallized personalized microphones before leading them on stage where their trailer was still playing on behind them. All four girls placed their microphones on their also personalized microphone stands which were also silver crystallized with multi coloured LED lights inside, making the crystals turn different colours while they were performing.

The trailer stopped and the beginning melody of the piano solo started before Shannon began singing the first verse of their eighties song 'Walking On Sunshine' by Katrina and The Waves.

"Darlings, that was fantastic! Pitch was spot on like always, harmonies on point and them notes at the end, Chloe and Shannon, wow!" Sharon complimented as the audience went wild.

As Sharon said, the performance went perfect! Each girl remembered all the choreography (even the part where they had to dance with extremely handsome boys) along with the harmonies and for Shannon and Chloe their as usual, challenging notes towards the end.

"Girls, I loved the song choice, the staging and everything! You remind me of Little Mix when they were on here. I believe you have the potential to win this competition." Louis gave his opinion before it was Nicole's turn.

Also, cue the audience going wild.

"Cupcakes, you know I love you and tonight you have came out and closed the show in style! What a performance! I particularly liked the part when you had to dance with the boys, bet you liked that. Anyway girls, flawless performance as per usual."

The audience went wild once again before Gary started to speak.

"Girls, I know this week isn't your preferred week but never the less you came out here and performed fantastically as always. I know this isn't song you wanted but you just got on with it without a fuss which is a good thing to do in this competition. Anyway, I cannot fault you girls, great performance."

As the audience went insane Dermot read out the girls voting number before closing the show.

Xtra Factor was next and as per usual relationship rumors were already beginning to form including ones involving Thompson and Shannon and Chloe and Connor which were as normal, wasn't true... Kinda.

"So, on the news of relationships we have ones blooming within two groups! Thompson and Shannon do you deny or comfirm about your blossoming relationship?" Caroline asked.

"Wait what? No, no, no, we're just friends!" Thompson replied as Shannon's stomach dropped as her smile faultered.

"Yeah, just friends." Shannon spoke through a fake smile.

"Okay, well we'll return for updates on that rumour next week but now how about you, Chloe and Connor? Any relationship growing between you two?" Caroline questioned.

"No, again just like Thomps and Shann, we're just friends and nothing more." Connor responded as just like Shannon's, Chloe's stomach dropped along with her smile.

Exactly, nothing more." Chloe mumbled, looking down at the floor as Matt went onto the subject of his 'W.I.N.K.I'.

Walking into the room that held all the contestants, the groups were faced with a looming silence as if someone had died along with Chloe's family (Mother, Father, brothers and her brothers best friend, Phil).

"Who's died?" Becky asked as all the contestants looked sympathetically and solemnly at Chloe who looked confused.

"Chloe, it's Tyler he's been rushed into hospital..."
