Chapter Seven ~ X Factor Mansion.

The day came for the X Factor finalist's to move into the X Factor house, actually X Factor mansion because this 'house' was massive to say the least. Skyway Avenue hopped out of the car that had brought them to the house to be greeted by Matt Richardson from Xtra Factor who would be giving them the grand tour of the house. 

First stop was the huge living room which included a large picture of Matt himself and a tiny one of Caroline. Second was the kitchen then the piano room and indoor swimming pool and then the girls room which, according to Matt, was the largest of the rooms in the house and it literally was. Two bunk beds sat on either side of a french door leading onto their balcony which over looked the massive back garden. 

Shannon sat out on the balcony late that very night playing eighties songs on her guitar under the light of the moon. 

"But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east and Shannon is the sun!" A voice shouted from the garden below. 

Shannon jumped and snapped her head to the source of the voice. It was Thompson. A smile broke out upon her lips as she saw him down on one knee mimicing the balcony scene from Romeo and Juilet. 

"Her eyes in heaven would through the airy region stream so bright that birds would sing and think it were not right." 

Shannon giggled before yelling down to him, 

"What is thou doing, O Romeo, O Romeo!?" 

"She speaks! Thy is trying to woo thy's dearly beloved with a Sonnet, my love." He yelled back.

"Shut up you idiot." She laughed, covering her blushing cheeks with her mousey brown hair. 

"NEVER!" He belowed before the downstairs doors opened and Matt appeared. 

"Oi, love birds, shut up yeah!?" 

And with that Matt went back inside followed by Thompson after he blew a kiss up to Shannon. Shannon was confused. Confused about whether she did actually like Thompson and whether he liked her back. If he did surely by now he would of actually asked her out by now or maybe this was how he was with every girl he met. Okay, maybe not because she doubted that he would kiss them goodnight, reanact the Romeo and Juilet balcony scene or even read to them until they fell asleep on his shoulder. However, Shannon shrugged it off and returned back inside and went downstairs to join in with Matt and Thompson's game of Just Dance 4. 

Meanwhile, in the swimming pool Connor, Josh, Sam and Jay were messing about, splashing each other and just basically being loud. So loud in fact, Chloe entered the swimming pool from the piano room where she previously sat playing various random different eighties songs in preperation for eighties week this weekend on the X Factor. 

"Can you guys be any louder?" She asked, standing at the edge of the pool. 

"YEAH WHY?" Josh shouted. 

"I hate you guys so much right now." Chloe sighed. 

"Nahh, you don't you love us really." Connor laughing, winking at her. 

"Yeah, no." 

"Admit it or we'll pull you in the pool!" Sam threatened making Chloe laugh. 

"Of course you will you don't have th-"

And in a matter of seconds, Connor and Josh grabbed her ankles and pulled her into the pool, fully dressed. 

"I fucking hate you guys!" She shouted, as she splashed a wave of water over Connor's head who retalliated by grabbing her waist and pulling her close into his chest. 

"You don't really, do you?" He asked, never breaking eye contact with her which, embarassingly made her stutter and blush like mad. 

"I-I, n-no." 

"Good, now go and get changed you're wet... For me obviously." 

Chloe laughed and swam away from him before exiting the pool to her room where she began to get changed into her Thor pajama's. Why did I have to fall for him? She asked her self, conflicted on the idea on whether he does or doesn't like her back. They've had a lot of moments right, that must stand for something, right? Who was she kidding a lot of people have moments with their crushes but that doesn't mean they like each other back does it? And now she was back to square one. She brushed off these thoughts with a shrug and went to join Nicholas, Becky and Summer in watching The Avengers in Nicholas' room.
