No clear answer was given as to how we would move around but jess is hell bent on me not snipping. Mack hasnt said a word to me and Tanner has been busy with the younger ones. i get up, grab my riffle and head toward the roof. once on the roof i set up and lay down, just then mack walks out on to the roof.

"what do you think you are doing?" she crosses her arms and sits next to me.

"im snipping, what does it look like? i know jess doesnt want me to but im only a day pregnant. if i were several months i would listen but no one else knows how to do this." i catch a couple creatures in the head. "damn they are getting closer."

"then teach me." my head snaps up to look at her. "well sooner or later someone will need to learn. since you and i are twins it is easier for us to teach each other." she gently pushes me out of the way. "now start teaching."

"alright fine." i roll over on to my back and lay my head her back. "look through the scope and tell me what you see."

"alright. i see creatures everywhere and they are moving toward something faster than normal." i push her aside and look through the scope.

"get jess and tanner now. we have people in trouble." my voice is louder than intended and she rushes of to get them.

it takes about two seconds for jess to show up next to me. he picks me up and moves me out of the way. "Mack take over."

"but i dont know how..."

"consider this fast training. just aim and pull the trigger." he yells at her and takes me down to the others. "stay here and dont move." he says as he puts me down.

"since when do i take orders from you? you may be older than me but..."

"BRADY DONT ARGUE WITH ME AND SIT YOUR ASS DOWN!" he yells at me and i can feel tears sting my eyes. "im sorry brady but i can lose you for any reason. you cant do things like you used to. you could miscarry if you keep using that gun. do you want that?"

"no youre right. ill stay here and wait for you to return." I sit down and pull my knees to my chest. i have never felt so useless before.

he bends down and kisses my head like he has always done. then heads back up to the roof to help mack. molly climbs in to my lap after prying my knees from my chest. "sissy everything be ok. big brother just want you safe." she smiles up at me before curling up like a cat to nap. she may be young but she is smart.

Lee looks over at me then looks away quickly. he hasnt said a word to me since i returned but i cant blame him. he has had a crush on me for a very long time so to find out im pregnant might be hurting him. "Lee, can i talk to you about something?" i look at him and smile.

"sure whats wrong?" his voice is a little cold.

"are you mad at me? is it because of what has happened?" i scoot closer without waking molly.

"how am i supposed to be? you want me to be happy for you? well excuse me that i cant be happy now that we may be in more danger. did you ever think about what you being pregnant does to the rest of us? once that child is born it will put us in even more danger. not to mention it could become infected right away. you dont think about things before you do them and i for one dont think i....."

"Enough Lee!" Victoria cuts him off and grabs him by the ear. "dont you think she already feels bad enough? she cant snipe anymore and her sister now has to carry that weight. yes we will be in more danger once the child is born but did you ever stop amd think how much danger she will be in? once she starts showing she wont be able to move very fast and dont get me started on morning sickness. so shut up and stop feeling sorry for yourself!"

He pulls himself away from her and gets up. he starts to say something but stops himself then turns and leaves. when he gets mad he walks away so he doesnt say or do anything else to hurt someone. i understand why he is mad but i cant do anything about it.  i look at vickie, who looks like she is about to cry. "im so sorry vickie. he is right i dont think things through. now i have put us in even more danger."

she wraps her arms around me and pulls me close to her. "you have nothing tp be sorry about. things happen and we cant stop them. now give me molly and go help your sister." she smiles and gently moves molly to her lap.

"thank you vickie!" i get up and head to the roof to help train mack.
