Day 130, 0:700

A lot has happened in the past three days. The infection isn't getting any better and the government is now shut down completely. We have found more survivors and lost them just like that. I never thought I would have to kill someone till now. I don't want to do this anymore! Jess hasn't returned yet and I'm getting really scared. The truth is that Jess is not my brother biologically; he was adopted when I was seven and he was nine. I love him a lot and never want to lose him to the plague. I think I am going to head out to find him. Tanner is still guarding the entrance so I'm going to have to sneak out. But how?

0:830

I got out of the building alright and I am on my way to find my brother. I haven't seen the image of Molly, my youngest sister, since the day we found Vicky and the rest of Lee's siblings. It still haunts me though because I think she was trying to tell me something. When I saw her the ally had change from the one we were in to a new one. I remember way it looked like so I'm going to start my search there. It is about two miles from where we are staying and time is getting shorter for us. I have till dark to get there and back after that I am left to deal with the creatures that were once humans.

10:00

I have search the ally that I believe is the one I saw my youngest sister in for an hour. But I have found nothing to give me any closer to finding them. I haven't found Jess either and I'm starting to fear that I will not find him well. 'Please be all right big brother. I can't do this without you.' I think to myself as I exit the ally at the other end. That's when I see her. "Mack!" I shout and run toward my twin but stop a few feet short of her. "Mack what's wrong?"

She turns and her eyes are puffy from crying and her hair is a complete mess. She doesn't notice it is me for a moment and runs at me holding a bat. "Mack it's me, Brady!" Dropping the bat after hearing my voice she wraps me in a huge hug.

"Brady, my twin I thought you where dead." She cries into my shoulder.

"Where is everyone else? Have you seen Jess? I can't find him." I ask as she calms down.

"Yes I have seen him. I was following him just a moment a go before I tripped." She looks around to find him.

"Was everyone with him? Was mom and dad with him?" I can help but feel a sense of hope.

"Mom and dad didn't make it out with us. They stayed behind so Jess could get us to safety." She wipes a year from her eyes.

"Well then let's get to safety to. I know the way back to where the others are.  Come on." I grab her hand and lead her down the ally I just came down.

12:00

We have been walking for awhile now and I know we been going in the right detection. So where is the building? Mack hasn't let go of my arm since I found her. 'Oh I know this is the right way but where is that building?' I think to myself. Please Jess come get us.

14:00

Still no sign of any living person. It's about to get dark so we hide in an abandoned building we find. I check every inch to make sure none of the creatures are in it. With no light but a small flashlight we search for a room that is not close to any windows but close enough to the door to escape if needed. Mack is shivering and almost in tears so I make her a small fire and find anything to wrap around her. We don't have much for food and we can't survive on just cerial bars forever. Tomorrow we are going out to get more food and try and find the others again.
