11:00
We left the house about four hours ago and we still can't find the hide out. I need to stop every so often because I feel sick. I'm fine right now but don't know when I may get sick again.
"You look pale Brady. Do you want me to carry you?" Jess looks down at me as we walk through an alleyway.
"No I'm fine. Let's get to the hide out." My body feels hot and I get dizzy.
Jess turns around and catches me just before I hit the ground. The last thing I remember before the world goes black is him throwing me over his shoulder.
Day 133; 14:00
I wake up to darkness and hear voices coming from a little ways away. I get up and move closer to the voices and find that I'm back at the hide out and Tanner is telling at Jess about something.
"How could you do that? Are you an idiot? You put her life in more danger now than it was before. What would our parents... Nevermind. You better tell her." Tanner looks away from Jess.
"I'm not going to tell her like this. I will tell her when you tell all of them the truth about yourself. I want them to know that truth before I tell Brady about..."
I open the door wide holding my blanket that was covering me. "Tell me about what? Jess, Tanner what is going on?"
They look at each other in defeat then Tanner motions for me to sit. "I'm not your real brother. I was adopted a year after you and Mack were born. Jess is my brother, my twin brother. We had just turned seven when he was found by police. Your parents adopted him because our parents beat him."
I listened to him speak about everything he had hiden from us and how he wanted to stay our big brother no matter what. It was all so confusing to me and made my stomach turn over. When he finished he look at Jess as if to say 'your turn'. Jess was about to speak when Mack burst in.
"YOU'RE PREGNANT!?!?!" She yelled with a little anger in her voice.
"No I'm not. What are you talking about?" I look at her puzzled.
"Yes you are! I have the test right here to prove it. Go take it and tell me I'm wrong. Please tell me I'm wrong." She hands me the test and looks as if she is going to cry.
I take the test and head toward the bathroom. They all watch in fear and excitement. A few moments later I walk out of the bathroom tears rolling down my cheeks. Mack turns on Jess and is about to slap him when I step in. She is to slow to stop herself and she hits me.
"Brady.... I'm so sorry." She looks as if she is about to cry herself. "Why did you have to get in the way?"
"I don't want you hitting him. It's not his fault alone. I was the one who pushed him." My eyes swell with tears.
Tanner steps closer and wraps me in his arms. "It doesn't matter who's fault it is. As long as you are safe. I will protect you with my life."
Mack turns to Jess and tells him that if anything happens to me and the child, he is so dead. He brushes the threat off and wraps his arm around me from behind. "You know this means no sniping for a while?"
My face turns sad. "But with out me as sniper how will we be able to move from place to place?"
