Chapter eight: surprise

My father and I both looked at my mother in complete horror, his face more horrified than me 
" oh come on kohl do you really think that you help make such a creature" looking at him in disgust as she pointed at me
" you said she was my daughter so yes I did Evilein, now explain this to me before I lose my temper" said my father raising his voice as he stepped in front of me
" oh alright one day at the inn you and our sons were out and I was watching Delia and a man came in and asked if I'd like to switch children at first I refused but he offered comfort in money and that one day my daughter would be queen. I would never pass up an opportunity like that so I did and a week later my daughter was on the news and being presented as the princess and the check came in the mail the next day. As long as I got paid I didn't need to know the details"my mother said shrugging it off, my father looked horrified as tear flooded his eyes. I was just pissed more than I think I could be.
" where is Eli and Rowan?!" I yelled as I stepped out from behind my fathers large shadow.
" calm down Delia they're passed out in the closet" she said as she glided closer to me.
How could she be so calm about this  I could not stop myself I walked right up to her smiling face and slapped as hard as I could.
"How dare you do this" I screamed
my hand was screaming in pain
At first she looked surprised but she collected herself and she jumped for me but my dad stepped infront and hit her down, with that she hissed and ran out of the inn, after a moment to collect my thoughts I ran for the closet swinging the door open Rowan fell into my arms, my dad grabbed Eli and layed him on a chair.
I dragged Rowan to the couch and laid him down  I pushed the hair away from his face. Just sitting there watching both of them they were so different from one another where one had blonde hair the other had black where one had blue eyes the other had Brown, leaning over Rowan passed out on the couch as I wet his face with a damp cloth his eyes started to flutter then they burst open and grabbed my hands and pulled me infront of him so I was sitting on his lap, his eyes were blazing and stayed the way until he realized it was me. His eyes softened and he smiled
" my my princess, we must stop meeting like this" he said smirking
" I most certainly agree" I said smiling
I quickly jumped of him and went to grab some more water.
Returning to the living room with water I see Eli is awake and Is speaking with my father I stop just before the doorway
" she's the princess and she must take her place in the palace" said Eli
"No matter if she's a princess or not she is my daughter I have the final say " said my father
" and how bout you two lads let the girl choose its her life , isn't that right Delia?" Said Rowan, I slowly walked into the room and set down the tray of water and poured out glasses of cold spring water
"Dad I need to go, many people have been kidnapped and I need to takemy place and that doesn't mean I won't still be your daughter , I promise" I said giving him a hug.
