Song: Misfits - Toby Randall
After I had gotten home everything started settling down. My parents were still worried about me and the boys, but since John had been imprisoned, they didn't yet have me on lock down mode. Dean still hadn't opened up to me, but I decided he would when he was ready.
At Gabe's appointment the day I had been hospitalized, we learned that he had major anxiety for a six year old. I'd had my suspicions before, but never had they been confirmed til now.
He had panic attacks during thunderstorms, and around large crowds, he freaked out around bees as well. It was scary as hell sometimes, but there wasn't anything I could do accept hold him in an attempt to calm him down.
Mary had gone back to work after missing a few days from sorting out legal things with John. The Winchester boys came over to our house often, hanging out while their mother worked. None of us minded much, I quite liked our set up.
Sam and Gabe played around the house, chasing each other with imaginary airplanes or toy dragons. Dean and I stayed in either my room or the sitting room, talking, thinking, joking around.
I was happy, until mom decided that one friend wasn't enough and I needed to be social. Ugh, socializing, gross. She decided it would be a good idea for me to join... The teen bookclub. Yup, you heard right, a bookclub.
I love reading, don't get me wrong, but it's the socializing thing that grossed me out. So, she dragged me to the car, mumbling about how I should make new friends and drove me to the small library.
"Call me if you need anything, have fun, and don't go home with any creepy perverts, okay?" Mom said sternly as I crawled out of the car.
"Yeah alright." I sighed, pulling on my backpack and waving goodbye. I walked into the library. I'd been there so often I'd memorized the layout and knew exactly where the teen bookclub was held, mainly cause I avoided it.
"You here for bookclub?" Someone asked as I wandered into the small round room.
"Uh, yeah." I responded, turning in the general direction of the voice.
"You should sit next to me, come on!" The girl said energetically. I sighed and nodded, hearing a chair scrape the ground. "You gonna sit or what?" She asked again.
"I can't really see where you are." I smiled sheepishly. I heard a faint noise of surprise then a laugh.
"I thought something was a little off about you; come over here." She said, grabbing my hand and jerking me into a chair. "I'm Charlie, nerd, lesbian, and lover of books."
"Oh, hi Charlie." I grinned, holding out a hand. "I'm Castiel, blind, gay, and lover of bees." I laughed a little.
"We are gonna be great friends Cassie, don'tcha think?" She asked, shaking my hand with great enthusiasm.
"Yeah, I think so." I said, confused as to how I'd already made a friend and the meeting hadn't even started yet. Maybe bookclub wasn't gonna be so bad after all...
"So, let's play the 'which one is weirder game!'"
"Oh, I'm great at this game."

"So how was it?" Dean asked when I slipped into my room. I shrugged off my backpack and jumped onto the bed.
"Okay I guess. I made a friend, her name's Charlie, she's fabulous. No one else really spoke to me, or at all for that matter." I scoffed. Dean crawled over and pulled me into his lap.
"Well, I'm glad you made a friend." He said, carting his fingers through my hair.
"I think you'd really like her, she's such a nerd, just like you." I laughed.
"What fandoms? Star wars? Doctor who? Anime?"
"All of 'em. She is also obsessed with Sherlock. She's trying to convince me that jonlock is the best thing ever, but I ain't buyin' it." I frowned, crossing my arms. Dean laughed again.
"I have to meet this chick." He laughed. I smiled at his beautiful voice.
"I'll introduce you." I grinned, turning to face him.
"I'd like that very much."
I replied with a small "Mhhm." And pressed my lips to his. He kissed back, smiling. "Love you."
"Love you too."
Ooh, look at me updating on schedule, that's new. I honestly don't know what I'm doing anymore, but I feel like I'm gonna have alot of fun writing this book club, and Charlie. Vote, comment, follow, share! Luv ya! 💓
