Song: Unbelievable - Owl City

"Ugh, I have to go back to school in two weeks! Two!" Dean groaned as I poured cereal into a bowl.

"I homeschool. I've never attended a real school, neither has Gabe, he wants to go to an elementary school this year instead though." I said thoughtfully. Dean groaned.

"Why can't you go to school with me?" He whined, stealing a bite of my cereal. I rolled my damaged eyes at him.

"Because, I don't know." I shrugged. He went quiet, probably thinking. I shrugged and continued to eat my breakfast before he took my spoon and stole some more of my cereal. "Ugh, food stealer, stay away from my captain crunch."

"Never." I rolled my eyes again, a habit I have yet to be rid of.

"You could go to school with me." He said after a minute. "You could ask if your parents would let you enroll, then we could brave these next couple years of highschool together." He put his hand on my back running his thumb over the soft sweater I was wearing.

"That might be cool, would they let me be in normal classes though, with my disability, I can't really see." I asked, frowning.

"Probably, I mean, you'd have to get like, brail school books and shit, but probably." He said, once again stealing my spoon. I sighed and smiled.

(AN, I have no idea if this is how the public school system works but I don't give a Frick.)

"I'll ask my dad then, but if it doesn't work out I'm gonna keep homeschooling, got it?"

"Got it." He said, kissing my cheek. "You're awesome."

"I know you are but what am I?"

"What?"

"What?"

"What."

I snuck up to my dad's study, knocking on the wooden door before pushing it open, the door knob cold beneath my finger tips.

"Dad?" I asked quietly.

"Hey Cas, I'm at my desk." He said happily. The sound of a coffee cup clicking on wood drew me over to his large desk. "What's up? And please don't ask for dating advice, I suck at that kinda stuff." He said seriously.

"Can I go to the public highschool please?" I asked quickly.

"Sure."

"Really? just, sure?"

"Yeah."

"For some reason I thought this conversation would be more complicated."

"Hmm."

"Wait, you're serious?"

"Of course, you're too anti social. I'm not saying you have to make friends, but you should at least be around them."

"Oh, cool."

"It is."

"It is what?"

"Cool."

"Oh."

"Yeah... Heh."

"Well, I'm just gonna go down stairs now..."

"Alrighty, I'll take you to get school stuff later, I doubt you want mom taking you."

"Thanks dad!" I smiled, slipping out of his office and back downstairs.

"Over here Cas!" Dean said from the kitchen. I followed his voice and bumped into a table before sitting on his lap. Mom was out so it was okay to do stuff like that. She wouldn't be back for a while so we had time before heading to Dean's.

"He said I could go, apparently I'm "anti social" pfft." I smiled as he messed with my coat.

"Yay! Now I won't be lonely!" He joked, picking me up bridal style.

"Why do you always pick me up like this?" I asked, laughing.

"Because it's fun. Plus it makes you giggle, and you're cute when you giggle." He laughed.

"Excuse me, I am not cute, I am the manliest man to ever man!"

"Sure you are dear, sure you are."

Woo hoo, another chapter! I don't care if it's short, it's fabulous. Btw I love feedback, so don't be afraid to comment. Vote, follow, comment! 💓
