Song: Stunner - Milky Chance"Hey Dean!" I said, strolling into his bedroom.
"Sup Cas?" He replied, shuffling over to me. I reached out til I found his hand and followed him to sit on the bed.
"Mom is driving dad crazy! This pregnancy is really wearing both of them out." I laughed. Mom was a little under three months pregnant and it was annoying the crap out of her. She hated not fitting into clothes, and hormones, and complained alot when she thought I wasn't listening.
"Well, only six more months to go!" He joked, pulling me into his lap.
"Ugh, I just want it to be over. Why can't humans just, lay eggs or something?"
"Because."
"That's not a good answer."
"Yes it is."
"No."
"Shut up."
"Fine." I laughed. One more week of summer. Which meant my birthday was coming up soon. Crap.
"Well, I'm gonna go eat some cereal, we got lucky charms!" Dean said, probably grinning.
"But it's six in the evening."
"Your point is?" His childishness made me chuckle; he was adorable.
"I am not adorable."
"Did I say that out loud?"
"Yeah."
"Oops."
"Oops is right!" Dean yelled, running away. I was genuinely confused by this boy... Whatever, I love him anyway. Yeah you do young me. Hehehehe. Sorry you haven't gotten as much of my snarky commentary recently, I've been busy. (With Dean heheh.) (#sorrynotsorry)
I rolled my eyes and followed the sound of his feet down the stairs and into the kitchen.
"Hey Cassie!" Mary said from somewhere near me in the kitchen.
"Hello Mary, what's cooking?" I asked sniffing the air. Something clattered on the floor and both me and Dean jumped a little.
"Well, I'm attempting to make spaghetti." She grunted, probably retrieving whatever had fallen. (Cough angels cough)
"Cool, can I have lucky charms?" Dean asked excitedly.
"What, did you not enjoy my homemade lunch?" She asked, faking offense.
"No offense, but the only thing you can make is pb and j and soup from a can."
"Point taken." She laughed. I heard Dean search the cabinet for cereal as I sat down at the table.
"Cas, you want some lucky charms?" Dean asked, voice muffled as he rummaged through the cabinets.
"Nah, I'm good." I smiled. The cabinet door closed, announcing Dean had found what he'd been searching for.
"Fine, but you're missing' out." He replied opening the refrigerator. I rolled my eyes at him as he sat down beside me.
"So love birds," Mary started, making Dean choke on his cereal. "Ready for school?"
"Not really."
"Nope."
Me and Dean said simultaneously, causing all three of us to laugh lightly.
"Good thing I'm ready for school!" Sam said running into the kitchen.
"Sam, why are you wearing your backpack?" Dean asked. I heard Sam shuffle around the kitchen, his little shoes scuffing the floor.
"Because I'm ready for school now."
"School doesn't start for a week yet bud." Mary laughed, clicking off the stove.
"But, I'm ready though." He pouted, making me smile at his childishness.
"Well, I don't know what to tell you, except that dinner's ready!" She exclaimed, setting something down in front of each of us.
"Yay, noodles!" Sam yelled, causing laughter to erupt across the table. I smiled and realized that this is where I felt safest, where I could be myself, and I liked it.
Woo hoo, another shitty chapter! This is bad, I know, but I have a small case of writers block... Please share, comment, and vote! Luv ya! 💓
