The sun shined brightly as the cheers of spectators resounded in the large stadium.
"Ladies and gentles," Lee Jordan, a Gryffindor, announced, "the Ravenclaw Quidditch team!"

The screams and stomping of the section our house and supporters sat in nearly made me feel as though I was going to become deaf. One side of the stadium was bathed in blue and bronze, the other drowned in red and gold.

I grinned from ear to ear, scanning the stadium and taking in a deep breath.

Roger Davies, our captain, put one hand on my back. "(Y/N), today's the day for our third win on a row. The Gryffindors won't know what hit them. You're our secret weapon. They don't know how you play. You got this."

I pulled in a breath of the cool air before turning to look at the Gryffindor team. They looked like a strong group: Oliver Wood (their captain) as Keeper; Angelina Johnson, Katie Bell, and Alicia Spinnet as Chasers, Harry Potter playing Seeker, and ---

I caught the eyes of George, my boyfriend, and he winked, flashing me a smile. I rolled my eyes, smirking.

"Teams at the ready!" The shrill sound of Madam Hooch's whistle pierced the air. Immediately, I pushed off the ground with as much force as I could, rocketing into the air. I flew up above the stadium; finding the Snitch would be my first priority.

"And Jeremy Strettons grabs the Quaffle right after it's thrown. Come on, Gryffindor Chasers, get that Quaffle!" Lee Jordan yelled into the microphone.

"Meanwhile, (Y/F/N) (Y/L/N) competes against Harry Potter to find the Snitch. Ooh, that was a close! A Bludger almost hit Roger Davies, but Jason Samuels sends it flying with a powerful swing."
After a few more minutes of scanning the stadium, a flash of flying gold caught my eye. Quickly, I got into action.

"(Y/F/N) (Y/L/N) has spotted the Snitch and is going after it! Harry is now following after her; they're racing head to head for that flying ball, but it seems the Snitch does not want to be caught!"

A determined look set itself on my face. I surged ahead of Harry, making a sharp turn as the Snitch in front of me as it tried to shake us off.

"Ooh, and (Y/L/N) has lost the Snitch."

I cursed as the Snitch disappeared from sight. Looking from side to side, I screamed and swerved as a Bludger came my way.

"Sorry, love!" George yelled to me. "Didn't mean to hit that towards you!"

I stuck my tongue out at him before facing the most important task at hand. My nose scrunched as I looked for the Snitch. There! It was hovering over George's head.

I dived towards him, and he quickly reacted by flying to the side. "I know you want me, (Y/N), but not in front of all these people!"

I rolled my eyes before reaching out and successfully grabbing the frantic Snitch.

"(Y/F/N) (Y/L/N) has caught it! She's got the Golden Snitch!"

The crowd went wild as the sea of blue and copper jumped up and down, cheering and chanting.
I flew down to the field and was immediately tackled by the team.

"You're amazing, (Y/N)!" Randolph Burrows said to me, clapping a hand on my back.

"I knew we were right to replace Cho with you," Duncan Inglebee beamed. "Brilliant, just brilliant!"

I smiled before I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist, picking me up and spinning me around. A pair of soft lips pressed hard against mine.

"You're were amazing, love," George said against my lips.

I hit him lightly on the chest. "You thought I want to make out with you in the middle of a game? Why would I do that?"

He put a hand on his chest in mock surprise. "You don't want to make out with me? Fine, no more kisses for you until you apologize."

George unwrapped his arms from my waist, childishly stomping a few steps away. I waited a few moments for him, and he turned around, catching me by surprise, and placed his lips hard against mine.

"Just kidding, love," he said breathlessly, forehead against mine. "I love you."

"Love you, too, George."
