Riley's POV
"There are many sexualities. The 2 most well known being straight and gay/lesbian. How you choose to identify is completely up to you. Now can anyone name more sexualities." I raised my hand hesitantly. "Riley" "Bisexual. It means you like both girls and boys." I mentioned. "Correct, how did you know that?" I froze. "I... Uhh..." I couldn't figure out what to say. "Because I'm Bisexual." Farkle stood up. "You are?" Lucas asked. Farkle nodded. "Since 7th grade." Farkle sat down glancing at Lucas with a hurt look on his face. Huh. "Asexual." Smackle mentioned. "One who lacks desire to engage in any form of sexual contact." My dad responded saying "True. There are so many sexualities it would take too long to explain them all. The acronym for many sexualities is LGBTQ+. So take out a small piece of paper and write down your sexuality." I honestly didn't understand why I had to identify as anything but I shook it off and simply wrote "questioning."
Maya's POV.
I need to write it down. "Gay." It honestly feels amazing saying it or writing it.
Farkle's POV.
Well I already told the whole class anyway. It was true. It wasn't just for Riley. After having a crush on Lucas for awhile in 7th grade I realized I'm not straight. But I still have attraction towards girls too, such as Smackle. I am still not attracted to those of other genders though. Therefore, I am Bisexual. I wrote it on the paper. "Bisexual."
Smackle's POV.
I wrote "Asexual" on my paper. I mean I still have romantic feelings towards Farkle just not any sexual feelings.
Lucas's POV.
I thought about it. Gosh darn it Farkle. "Questioning."
Zay's POV.
"Straight."
Maya's POV.
"Now stick the slips in your pockets." Mr. Matthews said. I did as he said and saw everyone else doing the same. "This is a part of you always." I looked at Riley and smiled. I think Mr. Matthews noticed. The bell ring and we grabbed all of our stuff. As we walked out Mr. Matthews stopped Riley and I. "What's going on with you two? You were both all smiley and giggly this morning, You walked into class 5 minutes late with messy hair when you left on time, and when we talked about sexualities you both seemed nervous." Riley and I looked at each other worried. "Just an interesting day is all." I lied. "okay..." Mr. Matthews responded clearly still suspicious but let us go anyway. Later when I got to my house my mom was there which was unusual. "Hi baby girl, what did you do in school today?" She asked. It made me a little nervous but I played it cool. "Just some dumb lesson on sexualities. We had to write our sexuality on a slip of paper and stick it in our pocket, it was stupid. Anyway, can I go to Riley's?" She nodded. "Thanks mom, love you." I said to my mom giving her a quick hug and heading out the door.
Katy's POV.
As Maya left a slip of paper fell out of her pocket. "Maya, you-" but before I finished she was already out the door. I picked up the slip of paper and saw what was written on it. "Gay" and then I remembered what Maya said about school today. Maya's gay?
