Maya's POV.
I heard a soft "Maya" as I opened my eyes to see Riley hovered over me. I smiled. "Good Morning Peaches." She said. "Good Morning Riles." I replied. "How was your date?" Riley asked, us getting up and sitting up on the bay window. "It was nice." I lied ignoring the slight hurt I heard in Riley's voice. I assumed she was just getting over her old Lucas crush. "Oh." Riley said her voice low. "So is he your boyfriend now?" She then asked her voice shaky. "Actually we are kind of on a break." I nervously informed her. I was sure I saw her smile for a second but then looked sympathetic. "I'm sorry peaches, what happened?"
"Well, he tried to kiss me but I told him I wanted my first kiss to be special and that I didn't know if he could do that."
Riley's POV.
Selfishly, I was somewhat happy for myself but sad Maya wasn't happy. "Ya know..." Maya continued. "He took me to the nicest restaurant. And you know how I sometimes feel like those things are just too much and I start to feel guilty. But I went on with the meal and it turns out his uncle was paying for it and he was only willing to spend $20 when he had a lot more. But I didn't mind he shouldn't have to spend a lot on me but it just reminded me of how you spent over double that on my dress. I don't know, it's just kind of funny how that happened." I nodded at her long-winded explanation. "I guess." I let out a small and weak laugh. "And it's funny how when he was this close to me..." Maya grabbed my face and held me a centimeter away from her face. I felt that feeling again. "I felt nothing but right now when it's you I feel everything." It was hard to believe she was saying this to me right now. "That is funny isn't it?" I said quietly. "Very." Maya responded leaning in slightly more. "Wanna know something interesting?" Maya questioned. I was now staring at her lips. "Huh?" I responded shakily. "I'm sure you can make my first kiss special." She told me before we both leaned in more and our lips collided. I felt over a billion fireworks as we continued to kiss. The kiss got deeper and more passionate until we had to let go to breathe. We held our foreheads together staring at each other. "That was a special first kiss for me." I told her. "That was the most special first kiss that could have ever happened." Maya agreed. I giggled. "What now?"
