Maya's POV.
Riley and I walked into school taking a deep breath. Today was the day we were going to stop hiding our relationship. We went to our lockers. Lucas's was pretty close to Mine and Riley's so we saw him. "Hey guys." Lucas said. I was surprised to see him acting normal after the breakup. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yeah why wouldn't I-" he paused. "Oh. Uhh yeah it wasn't a big deal to begin with." I looked at him confused but shook it off. "So what's new with you guys?" Lucas asked. Riley and I looked at each other debating on whether or not to tell Lucas the truth. We eventually nodded at each other. "Well... Uhh... Maya, and I... Are actually-" I cut her off because I knew she was really nervous. I was too but still said "Riley and I are together." I grabbed Riley's hand. "Like together together?" Lucas asked. We nodded. "That's great news! I'm so happy for you guys!" Lucas exclaimed suspiciously enthusiastic. "You're okay with that?" I asked suspiciously. Lucas nodded. "So when did this happen?" "The morning after your date." Riley informed. Lucas nodded. "You guys are good together. You've always acted like a couple so it's nice that now you actually are." I smiled at what Lucas said and swung my arm over Riley's shoulder. "We should go to class." I suggested, grabbing Riley's hand and walking to class. As we walked in everybody was looking at Riley and I. I sighed then just said it "What? You've never seen anyone hold their girlfriend's hand before?" Riley blushed and smiled at that and suddenly as I looked at her like that all of my anger washed away. We sat in our usual seats with everyone still staring at us. I heard a bunch of "disgusting"s but still some "aww"s Then we looked at the board. Of course. "Homophobia." was written on it. "Homophobia." Mr. Matthews started. "What is it?" I raised my hand and Mr. Matthews called on me. "It means fear of homosexual behavior or more accurately having negative feelings toward homosexual behavior. Forced to know a thing or two about that." Riley put her hand on my shoulder and I calmed down a little bit but was still angry. "Correct. In fact in some countries homosexuality is illegal. However, we are fortunate enough to live in a country where now we can even get married to the same sex. Now who in this room is homosexual whether that be Gay, Bi, Pan, etc.? You don't have to answer if you don't want to." Mr. Matthews asked. My hand, Riley's, Farkle's, and a couple other's hands raised immediately but not many. I then saw someone behind me raise their shaking hand slowly. I turned around. The boy from Texas. The Moral Compass as he was called. Ranger Rick. Cowboy. Bucky-Mc-Boing-Boing. "Lucas?" Farkle asked. "You're homosexual?" Riley questioned. "I-" Lucas glanced at Farkle for a second. Oh my God. He looked forward. "I can't do this." He walked out of the classroom. Lucas has never walked out before. "Someone get him." Mr. Matthews said. "I think Farkle should go." I suggested. "Why should I-" I cut Farkle off. "Just go." Farkle walked out as told.
Farkle's POV.
I knew exactly where to go. I walked to the old abandoned classroom that no one knew about. It was dusty and dirty and had an old chalkboard that said "Debate." But that wasn't old. Lucas and I used to come here to practice debate. I always tease him saying he's just a face but he's not. You just have to look close enough. "Hey ya gotta come back to class." I told him. Then I looked at him closer. It was a dark room so it was hard to see. I saw he was crying. "Hey-" I grabbed his face and wiped his tears with my thumbs. "It's okay. I'm Bisexual. Maya's Gay. And Riley's well she's with Maya. Whatever you are It's okay." Lucas just dripped more tears. "Look I don't know what I am!" Lucas yelled surprising me and making me let go of his face. "All I know is that I love!-" Lucas suddenly stopped. "Who?" I asked. "It's not important. He's taken anyway." Lucas responded leaving. I caught up to him. "Of course it's important!" I yelled not caring who would hear. "It's about you! And I-" All of the sudden I felt lips on mine. I kissed back. I really don't know what I'm doing. I mean I with Smackle and I care a lot about her but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to pull away from the kiss. It made me feel amazing.
Maya's POV.
"Okay since we hear them in the hallway can someone just tell them to come in?" Mr. Matthews asked. I raised my hand and Mr. Matthews nodded. I walked out and saw Farkle and Lucas kissing. I knew it. I pulled out my phone and took a picture. They'll thank me later. I walked up to the two oblivious lovers. "Hey lovebirds, ya gotta get to class." They pulled away and blushed. They also looked really nervous. "Don't worry I won't tell anyone. But just so you know, you guys are really cute together." We walked back to the classroom "Larkle" blushing the whole time. Riley gave me a look that I recognized immediately. I nodded.
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Written July 10th 2016. Idk if I ship Larkle but I just made perfect opportunities to make their relationship really cute so I went for it. Also the classroom thing is legitimately based off of my childhood. Because when I was little there was this area behind a brick wall that me and my friends would hide behind at recess and we saw an old looking abandoned classroom with a chalkboard instead of whiteboard like the rest of the school through a window. Honestly it could have just been a classroom we just had never entered before and we were just being dumb XD. But that's what it's based off if you were curious which I doubt you were.
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((By the way my Wattpad is being weird so it is difficult to see comments. But I saw some people wanted an update so here ya go.
